So, if you call in to report a fire do they answer "BFD"?

And BTW, what's the white stuff on the plate next to the omelette.
Never seen anything like that on a breakfast plate before.

One more question...

That sign on the counter in the store:
"No refund on purchased items"?
Does that mean that they'll only pay you if you bring back something you stole?

Nice pics, BTW. I wish I had the time to explore like you do.

Judging by the concrete blocks in front of the bus, I'd say he just sold two cars and a unicycle.

Why kind of grits? Instant... or regular?

Did you purchase them at the Sack 'O Suds?

Were these magic grits? Did you get these grits from the same guy who sold Jack his bean stalk beans?

RACK the "Travels with Sam."

It's fun to see different parts of the country without the windchime boy commentary.

Still, I don't know if you'll ever top the "girl at the gas station" pic. The quilting bee ladies weren't quite in the same league.

Thanks for the pics Sam, Keep the triplogs coming, although some pics of women would be nice to add. I understand Gees Bend might be a little short of that commodity.

I'll try and do a cali version on my next trip, to represent the west coast. None of that fake " I slept with these unwashed women whose pics I C&P'ed from a year old ren faire website" BS that MTool posted.

DAMN man! You've never seen "My Cousin Vinny" before? SS, were those hominy grits or instant?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grits

Great pics and story once again SS! You could barely control your bike in those grooves? You definitely wouldn't like riding in "ruts" on a dirt bike track especially when the foot pegs are scraping the sides of the ruts.

There needs to be an archive just for traveling pics. Otis you should make it happen.

Ain't enough bandwidth in the entire interweb to accomodate your travles brought on by failure after failure. Bad idea, unless you're banned from 'em of course.

I suppose it doesn't surprise me that you actually find something so simpleton to be so funny. Hey... wouldn't it be way cool and epic if someone wytched a goat in front of Phil? Hell, it'd be so funny to you we may as well assume your death by asphyxiation from your laughter.

Idiot.
