'Skins v. TeXans
'Skins v. TeXans
Primer, this is your best chance yet to lay a sig on an opponent for a week.
You up for it?
Though most franchises wouldn't get much from beating an 0-2 team after being 0-2 themselves, yours is not most teams.
This game for me presents an opportunity to watch the number one overall pick in action over a whole game.
Not much else going on in 'Skinsland.

I keep hearing how awful the Texans D is and how Brunell is going to throw up mad stats. I am not buying it. He barely looks to be able to compete against a HS team, or the Raiders. Having Portis back and healthy is a huge boost over Tumbelweed Betts. He will be the offense. Springs is still out so I worry about what Carr may be able to do through the air. Does Houston have a RB? Is it Samwise Gado? The defense will still be able to keep the game close for a game-winning Randle El punt return for TD.
Skins 17
Texans 14
In for any sig bets.

The 'skins are coming off a disappointing division loss to the hated 'boys.
They have pretty serious offensive struggles.
This is the 2nd of a back-to-back road game dealie .... not a good scenario.
Not a lot to get inspired about in playing the Texans.
D. Carr seems to be tossin' the rock pretty good.
I smell upset.

WASH-27
HOU-17
Gibbs hasn't opened 0-3 since 1981, lets hope it doesn't happen tomorrow.
Washington beat Houston 26-10 at home in 2002, the only previous meeting between the teams.

skins wont score 35 points in a game all season, it could take 5 games for them to score a total of 35 ptsKC Paul 3.0 wrote:I disagree- in Al's first season (2001) as OC of the Chiefs the offense stunk out loud until Week 3 at the Redskins where they scored at will. Since the Skins get Portis back this week I see them doing the same.DallasFanatic wrote: The 700 page playbook proves to be your downfall once again.

texans win a close one, houston is much better offensively than the cripple skins.

Prime, get thee a sig to lay upon us burgundy and gold myopic fools.
Errrr... or not. Y'all looked in it at first. We go 3 - out, you guys drive the field for a TD.
Suffice to say I severely overestimated the Texans.
This win in no way means the 'Skins are any good. This is a "the worst team lost" scenario.
I don't know how many more of these opportunities we're going to get so the spoils of war should go to the most deserving. G.O. (aka grego) gets to choose the sig imo.
