Nothing beats ice cream and a Dr. Pepper for breakfast...

For real, I'll take a Denver omelet, 3 large buttermilk pancakes, 3 sausage links and 3 strips of bacon...and two pieces of white toast with a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Vegetable omelette with Simply Eggs/Eggbeaters/Egg Whites only, very light on the cheese... salsa and sour cream on the side. Wheat toast with preserves or marmalade (no butter). Side dish varies depending on how good I want to be. Lots of coffee.

Allow me to fix that for you.

Denver omelette is good. Make sure you get plenty of hot sauce to pour over that bitch though.

Fuck sausage, go all bacon.

If sourdough toast counts as white I suppose I'm down with that.

Pancakes are for girls, give me two biscuts drowned in country gravy. Home made gravy - none of that other foul shit that some restuarants serve.

Maybe throw in an order of fried potatoes with onions, garlic, and red bell pepper mixed in.

Fucking bomb.

Now I have to order breakfast.

It's left over from the night before.

If I am cooking breakfast I will cook scrambled eggs with cheese blended in, johnsonville sausage, wheat toast with margarine and blueberry preserves, OJ and milk.

Take a toasted english muffin top it with smoked salmon, lightly poached eggs, holandaise sauce & fresh cracked black pepper,
add a watermelon & strawberry fresh fruit crush & you have breakfast utopia

We call that eggs benedict here. The traditional way is with Canadian bacon but the smoked salmon (lox style, not the dry flaky stuff) is orders of magnitude better. Try topping with caviar and serving some steamed brocolli with hollandaise on the side.

Add a little champagne and you have the annual Mothers' Day breakfast in our house.

If you really feel decadent, also add a double chocolate muffin on the side.

Eggs benedict indeed. About 25 years ago I went to a little restaurant in Redondo Beach called "The Flying Jib". Had eggs benedict and been hooked every since. I've prolly eaten EB in 5 states and 50 cities, but never found any better than at the Jib.....

^^^^^^^^^^^^

or, sans the hollandaise sauce..pour a generous amount of Makers Mark over the whole dish.

my other favorite is fresh toasted sourdough & Scambled eggs with smoked salmon & dill & fresh squeezed OJ

My ultimate scrambled eggs recipe is as follows

Melt a good tablespoon of butter not margarine or butter substitiute, in a pan
break in six fresh free range eggs
as soon as they just start to cook a little, break up & scramble adding a little dash of sea salt when almost cooked add about a tablespoon of fresh finely chopped dill & about 2 med sized slices of smoked salmon roughly chopped & take off heat immediately as the remaining heat in the pan is enough do not cook till dry good scrambled eggs should still be a little moist add lots of fresh cracked cracked pepper & serve immediately with freshly buttered toast
