how long do you think he might end up being under water?
The rest of his life which is about 2 seconds if he falls off. After that he's crab bait.

No. It isn't.

It's, Jan. 28, 1998, as I've posted before. In Hawaii. And yes, it is "Big Wednesday."

I've got the Nature documentary on VHS. And DVD, thanks to some pirates.

This video that Diego posted (and earlier Meds) keeps circulating, but it's from either that documentary or the I-Max footage that was shot during Extreme, which I don't have.

The PBS "Nature" documentary fucking rules.

Actually, California had its "Big Wednesday" on 12/21/05. Biggest swell to hit the coast in 20 years. I ought to know, I was in the water that day and it was the shizzle.......

Peahi aka JAWS on Maui.

All BS aside the 20 footer Laird rode at Teahupoo in Tahiti is still hands down the sickest wave ever ridden! Consider this wave is also as thick as it is tall comming in at 30 knots on a reef that goes from 300 feet down to 3 feet down in about 100 yards!
