Greg Allman & Friends....

...anyone catch them recently? Seeing them tonight, just wondering how the show was and how long before Greg comes out, 8pm start time, thinking 9pm show up.

I saw the Allman Brothers in Oct of '03 here at the Hard Rock, stood up against the stage about 12 feet from Greg. Great show, left deaf.

The show was not what I expected, it was nit Allman Bros Lite. He did mostly AB tunes, but he had a horn section and everything was "Funky" sometimes, jazzy sometimes bluesy, all of it very good. Some sound issues with the bass & Grregs mic, but overall a great job.

Rack the guy for great music and hanging out and chatting with people and shaking hands before leaving the stage.
