You misread my post. I dont agree w/ going through life w/ out any responsibility and thus saying people that raise families and provide for kids took the easy way out. I am young, dumb and full of cum but I have goals in life and they include family and providing a nice life for my future family. So I guess you can say I am taking the easy way out.

Also, welcome back Derron.

You must have missed this part... the average man.

Do I seem like the kinda guy that would work 11 to 12 months a year, live in Cleveland, and sit in my cubicle while I work and dream about my 2 week vacation???

Or... am I the guy that works 6 months a year, while traveling the country of course... and spends his 6 months a year off, living in the most beautiful area in the country?

m2 is far cry from the average dork that spends all day posting on a message board to save himself from his own miserable existence...

By the way, what if you're unmarried, without kids, but have a serious relationship with someone whom you live with? Would that qualify as "sorta-kinda-but-not-exactly-the-easy-way-out"?

Today, could be informative too. Thanks Fess, bringing up Cheese (I know, only used in a Doritos reference) should bring out some other tips. You do know that Oregon is home to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, yes?

Aging cheese, fresh milk, cows with big floppy teats and the processing. There is no cork sniffing involved, no little finger out, no Cheese Spectator magazines that I know of. I think, guys know more shit about cheese. Funny how that works when cheese is supposed to bind, isn't it?

This could be a good day.

I don't know, Luth. There's something sort of gay about cheese too. Not sure what it is.

It was actually a small handful of Sunchips(I'm allowed to have a couple these days, but not the whole bag). These were of course ingested while sitting around with my buddy playing Madden on XBox...:redfacedsmileything:

And just a little UPDATE on the scoreboard thingy --

SDR, Fester has now garnered more RACKs in the callout thread that you started than you have.

So, how is that pile-on you tried to instigate working for you? Did the epic posters come and fight your battle like you were hoping?

The thread served my purpose, it entertained me.

There's no battle to fight, no pile-on I was trying to get others to join in on. You did just as I figured you would: blow your horn and be yourself, e.g., prove my point.

Edit: I do have one troll nic I've used a half dozen times, but since DrD is gone, don't have a need for it anymore.

So, we go from the smackless callout, to the declaration of BODE, and of course to complete the tardfecta, we then get the inevitable...

"You take this board too seriously."

You're jealous that you didn't get the Board Bitch nomination, aren't you? Sorry, but things have changed. If you want to be top dog in the board bitch sweepstakes these days, you need to do a little extra. Gone are the days when I simple "Hey everyone, would you mind smacking on this guy for me, since I'm incapable," and a variant of "I have BODE," followed up with "you take this place too seriously, as opposed to myself, regardless whether I posted a thread expressing concern about possible personality shortcomings of another poster."

Nope, those old standby techniques just don't cut it in these times of message board evolution. You really have to do something extra, like a rundown of all of your neglected pets you've murdered, or post pics of yourself with overweight dungeons and dragons skanks. Gone are the days when "you take this place too seriously" assures you the title.

Kick it up a notch. You're well on your way...

Funny. I post a take with 12 words and a smiley, and four pages later you're banging out another novel about how you don't take this too seriously.

Props to you, I guess.

I'll leave all terms and conditions to you, bro.

Oregon is a MUCH better team, AND I'm quite sure they still have a chip on their shoulder from the asswhooping OU laid on them last year.

Actaully, I hope U of O and OU can meet occasionally over the next couplefew years. Although it's brand new, it has the makings of nice friendly rivalry. Soonerfan is a hoot.

My other team, the perrenial D3 powerhouse Linfield Wildcats lost in the semis. I have a hunch Brett Elliot, who walked away from the starting QB job at Utah, citing the reason that it sucked so badly living in Utah, he was willing to walk on to D3 to not live there anymore, even though the guy he was replacing went #1 in the NFL draft, will be playing on Sundays sooner or later. I think he threw for like 550 yards in the loss (in the rain, no less).

BUT, just because Linfield came up short this year, it doesn't change the fact that they are THE WINNINGEST TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL! By far. This year maked consecutive winning season #50. Yeah, you read that right...50. They were NAIA until about 20 years or so ago, but it was also a smaller school back then. I think enrollment is up to about 2000 these days.

BTW-Linfield is going to win the D3 baseball title this year(sup assistant coach and Linfield alum, not to mention World Series MVP Scotty Brosius), so all is not lost. Almost pulled it off last year. And sure, it's D3 and D3 is what it is, but if they would have pulled off both football and baseball titles in the same year...well, that's just taking pwnership of D3. Next year, it will happen.

And it'll still be D3, but D3 BODE is better than no BODE. And Linfield's stadium is a very short drunken walk/stagger from my bud's house.

But tonight...tonight is all about the Quackers, the most versatile beast in the entire animal kingdom -- it can run, it can swim, it can fly(good line, Dan Fouts). If Ahmad Rashad shows up and runs his mouth, I'm muting the volume, though. He's a Portlander and a Duck, and I still can't homer for that tard.
