Game over. Texas had their chance to blow it open in the 3rd quarter and had one too many drives stall. I'll be suprised as hell if Texas marches down and wins at this point.

Bittersweet here. Glad for the XII, but another step forward for t.u. recruiting.

Worth it though. A game that lived up to the hype. Awesome finish no matter who won. Enjoyed it much, and enjoyed the commentary here minus one.

Man what relief and what a game. Thanks to the Buckeyes I just mowed through an entire can of copenhagen during that game. I honestly thought Texas would win convincingly but not quite to the extent the local Austin media had predicted. Most around here were debating whether Texas was going to run up the score or put the scrubs in at the end. Pretty myopic, but I almost was drinking all that kool aid. But I guess even with the half glass of it I tasted, I was sure wrong about OSU. Sure their defensive stats looked good on paper, but I figured they were inflated by mediocre Big 10 competition. The last times I have watched an entire OSU game have been the last two MNC games and this years USC game. Boy I was wrong. That is a helluva football team with a nasty defense. I kept waiting for Pryor to throw a pick, but he never did. Towards the end I had serious doubts that Texas could pull it out. Not too often does Texas win when getting outrushed. I know it has to be heartbreaking to the OSU contingent on here, but I think they should hold their head up because they are going to be unstoppable one Pryor gets a little more experience. Anyway, props to both teams for a good game.

While the ending was all someone with no dog in the fight could hope for...

First, let me start by saying that I am in no way qualified to coach or even DC at a D1 school... and neither are you, or you'd be reaping the higher income it would offer...

When you're up 4 with under a minute to go, and the opponent is somewhere around your 20, needing a TD to win...

How in the living fuck do you leave the middle of the field wide fucking open?

Surely the OSU staff did a little bit of scouting, and surely they realized therewas some guys on UT that could make some plays and beat some fools at WR?

For that, give the Offensive MVP Award to Heacock and Tressel... they earned it.

RACK the Horns, either way... they still had to make a play (regardless whether it was handed to them on a silver platter). It's starting to look like it's no fluke... Vesty shits the bed in big games.

First let me say that i did drink the cool-aid, I thought Texas was going to drop a hammer on tOSU right up until I remembered that Tressel generally tries to play keep away. It worked in the first half.

Great game, but I guarantee that no matter who Mack votes #1 it shouldn't be Texas, no way we are better than USC.

Props to tOSU for making a damn good game of it.

Man I now understand how other teams felt when they faced Vince, you think you have him and he just makes you look silly. I really don't want to face him again but as good as Texas is and as good as he is there is a darn good chance both teams wind up in Pasadena next year.

tOSU has nothing to be ashamed of, 3 losses, all to top 5 teams and this in a rebuilding year for them. I call that a successful year.

Oh, so now it's about Big 10/11's QB's inability to throw?

Tears, Jerry, Tears.

Btw, a huge FUCK YOU and the mTool you rode in on.

Nothing personal, of course, bro.

Yeah, those Big XII defenses sure do suck, don't they?

Nope. Wasn't about conferences, or even the nonexistent B10 D's...

I thought I made it fairly clear that the post was about Pryor.

5 completions out front shoulda told you.

Yeah, those Big XII defenses sure do suck, don't they?

Keeping Pryor to 5-13 proves this either way... how?

But whatever OSU lacked in a passing attack, the Horns made up for it... tossed it around like they forgot it was legal to run it. And unlike Pryor, Colt decided to actually hit some recievers (in prodigous quantities)... something OSU should consider putting in the play book for next season.

Hell of a game. I fear Pryor. If he learns to throw the ball he will be as good as Vince. He can run. Man is he good and fun to watch. That being said, Colt has to be the front runner for Heisman next season. What a great game to watch and a nice warm up for the game on thursday.

I would vote Texas #1 because they have earned it on the field. For those of you who are worried about style points, remember this:

What do you call a guy wwho graduates from Medical School last in his class? Doctor.

You go 12-1 and beat one of the teams in the last game by 10, the AP has done stranger shit.

Props to OSU. Classy coach, great team, love C-bus and good luck next year.

Ya think?

They obviously lacked a pass defense as well.

RACK the FUCK out of Cosby, btw.

Sure, for all of you degenerate gamblers, Texas didn't cover, but it did make for an interesting game ... and I hate to tell you this bro, but ...

TOLD YOU SO.

No way was tOSU going to come back and actually win this game after being down 2 scores in the second half.

They just aren't built that way. ('sup 'Bama).

Power running games look amazing when you are pummeling DII teams, or the Big 10/11. But get behind?

Ya, that works out well.

Btw, Dins, your boys obviously don't fall into this category.

It's just too bad you've gotten into this whole keeping up with the Joneses, if not explicitly than implicitly "Big XII sucks" crew of tards.

Sad, really.

I certainly didn't mean to give that impression.

Since you didn't ask, I'll tell ya'...

If I had a pole vote... Lech Walesa could go fuck himself. Wait... what were we talking about?

Oh, a POLL vote, I'd have OU at #1, I think (prebowls). UT would have been way up there, 2 or 3.

But my votes would suck, since I didn't catch nearly the CFB as years past, for reasons known only to my penis.

But I still saw plenty. And the knock on the B12 D's was somewhat deserved, imo. Then again, one of the suspect B12 D's held my team to a mere 42 points... not too shabby. 80 yards and a cloud of Green, baby!

Let's see.....30-2 record as a starter, 2 Rose Bowl wins, 1 MNC, runner-up in the Hypesman and a perfect 13-0 season. I'd say Vince was rather good in college. Pryor has a long way to go to being able to hold Vince's College jock.

She was a three drink minimum as an undergrad in Lawrence. It's a shame when they waste the prime of their career like that. I guess the deli trays in the media room at Allen Fieldhouse are too good to pass up.
