No. I started her up, my screen went black like the game was about to start, I heard a click from my monitor and then it dropped me back to my desktop. Does it every time.

Maybe it's my two and a half year old video card. I don't even actually know if I have a video card.

I'm thinking that it might be best if I just wait for the XBox 360 to come out and then pay some 15 year old $30 to hook it up to the internet. I used to understand technology...a little...years ago...

the game is out and it is more than I could have ever dreamed for...if you're on a server and you see "Copperfield", say hello and RUN!

It's every bit as great as we all expected. I usually play as a medic. You get enough gear in your kit to do some serious damage, but you can revive people to rack up major points.

Now I just hope my preordered copy comes soon so I can stop risking getting banned by using this cracked version.

My copy came yesterday. I haven't been able to play it yet since I now have a three day old baby.

I thought the preorders came with a free headset? Where's my headset? Stupid fucks.

My BF2 gamer tag is Zero_File. Fear my M4.

congrats on the baby, bro..

a lot of people had issues with getting their headset when they ordered online...a lot more were ordered than EA expected...i ordered in-store and got the headset at that time, it's pretty cheap anyways..you're not missing out on much.

You got your preordered copy yesterday? Mine was only shipped yesterday. Stupid pricks. If I don't get my headset I'm going to set the building on fire.

hope you kept your receipt.

they did a poll on a BF2 message board about those keyboards. 75 people bought them, 70 of them returned them within 48 hours.

but who knows, maybe you'll love it!

It performs just fine and it's nice to have all the keys labeled specifically for the game. I'm happy with it.

I still would have gone this route--

How's the kid? Getting much free time to play?

if I were to get a pad for this game, that would be it...but my keyboard is just fine...the only other thing I use is my SideWinder Force Feedback joystick for flying the helicopters and jets.

Kid is doing great. Thanks for asking. I've been able to play a little bit but not too much.
