Uhm... you realize that the OWS protesters are part of the "communist movement that is gaining momentum," right?

Right?

If they were part of a "communist movement", there'd be CEO's swinging from lamp posts right now.

This is simply lumpenproletariat rabble. The OWS mob can go either "left" or "right", as it is essentially apolitical.

They'll just as soon steal as they will share. That ain't communism, tovarisch.

actually, this OWS movement has been secretly set in motion and endorsed by the left elements of the democratic party. George soros and Msnbc are giddy with JOY at this movement.
The government as now run by the Obama administration and the powers that be in the democratic party, are scared shitless of the Tea Party. And this is their answer to the tea party. The OWS was designed to destroy the tea party movement and the republicans chances at taking back the white house in 2012.

Its really funny and simple when you stop to think about all this. THE ONLY problem the democrats have? THEY FORGOT what the TEA PARTY stands for, LIBERTY AND FREEDOM.
And, to anyone who has seen the Mel Gibson classic film, "BRAVEHEART", those are the two things that can NEVER be extinguished.

But they so want to be communists, Comrade. Real communists would have these sorry douche-drizzles hanging from lamp posts right alongside the CEO's and crooked congressmen, am I right?

How do you outsource mining your own natural resources?

Oh wait, mining might kick up a dust cloud, no can do.

BTW, those 10 and 12 year olds have parents who might have something to say about this.

Easy... employ countless illegals, no questions asked, and make big-time contributions (buy) to politicians with the savings. Shit, you can employ illegals and run for president these days.

Those 10 and 12 year olds parents did have something to say about it....many decades ago. A few lost their lives in the effort. Do we really need blood in the streets again to bring about proper change to the way bankers and corporations do business in this country? And to keep them the fuck out of government? You know...the same corrupt fucks who are allegedly elected by common, decent folk?

Just when I thought the entertainment value was waning, they went one better...

Occupy Portland underwent some changes from that grassroots movement that so hated "corporate greed," and to more efficiently speak out against this corporate greed...

They've now become...

Occupy Portland Incorporated.

And despite what you're thinking... no, I'm not making that up. I'm just not that creative.

Within a day, they now have money missing, finger-pointing, disputes over web domain ownership, and corporate board shakeup.

And I, for one, am freaking giddy about it. I can't stop laughing.

That's the beauty of Occupy Portland... did they really think anybody was going to notice some extra vagrants camping in the Park Blocks looking for a handout?

'Round these parts, we refer to a bunch of unwashed people sleeping in the parks and pissing on the sidewalks as "a day that ends in Y."

Mothere Nature is probably going to piss me off and fail to deliver an arctic blast all winter. Probably stay in the 40's/50's all winter, much to my dismay.

Since you specifically mentioned Wall Street -- it's my understanding that open carry is prohibited in the entire state of NY.

Portland is one of the few places in Oregon that forbids open-carry(loaded ones, anyway).

Just guessing, but hysterical bed-wetters aren't the most competent people to be wielding firearms in a crowd. A more selective recruiting process was/would be in order.

I agree with some of what you said about Kent State. There is no question anti-war protests diminished in frequency and intensity after Kent State. I disagree completely with your attempt to compare OWS with the anti-war movement of the 60s. OWS is an economic movement that seeks to establish greater social justice, the anti-war movement was about saving college kids from being drafted. Once the force sizes in Vietnam started to decline (not long after Kent State) and fewer kids were being drafted, the primary reason for the anti-war movement was gone. I don't think corporations are going to stop shitting on the middle and poorer classes anytime soon.

Have they been able to articulate a few consolidated movement-wide list of changes that they wish to see take place?

The "Tea Party," (despite differences within the whole group) for example, was quite easily able to do so.
And continue to do so.

Right now, to be honest, I see a lot of individuals in the occupy group screaming and flailing around in their own shit ---> well, sort of like an infants with full diapers.

It's incoherent.

And social justice for who?

Is there some group who needs to have "justice" take place for them?

If there is a group, who is IN the group and who is NOT IN the group?

And who decides who is in or out of the group?

I guess that's 5 questions.

Big mistake by police. Remember how Kent State changed things? Get ready.
Hey Jsc? From what I can tell, you are a sick lying piece of shit. The oakland incident was started because of violent protestors throwing projectiles, putting everyone in danger.

As a taxpayer myself, I WANT the police to use rubber bullets if they have to, and use whatever means available to keep the peace. Which means that if protesotrs start throwing things, I fully expect and demand the police to act quickly.

You dare to bring up the tea party? THERE IS NO COMPARISON. The Tea Party is 99 percent good honest hard working folks. WHILE the occupy movement is 99 percent cockroaches.

Again, Jsc is a lying piece of shit, who uses lies to support your twisted and sick reality.

I wasnt aware of the Boston incident, HOWEVER, In Oakland, didnt protestors start throwing things?
ALSO, I dont like talking to a Harry Potter fan at a local barnes and noble, much less being surrounded by an angry mob of those loons.

What happened to the peaceful mobs of trekkies who'd line up for days just to catch a glimpse of the great Bill Shatner?
That was a peaceful group, always having their phasers on stun.

The harry potter mob? Their breath alone could kill the dead. Why is it that the folks with the most rancid breath, always invade your personal space within millimeters??

that's a quaint little broadly defined term there. just what does it fucking mean?
