I thought Japan was a homogenous society where obedience is a civic virtue. The group is more important than the individual. They still have a royal family.

I think something is wrong with Covid19, but also with Covid19 numbers. I believe we'll get something approximating a real fall-out in twenty years.

Pence was basically run out of Indiana. Nobody, even his own party, wanted him back as Governor. Trump chose him to be #1 psychophant, and he's filled the position admirably.
If he ever became President? He would probably do something intentionally to try and bring on Armageddon.
