WW, the refs in the Ghana v US game are going to call it right down the middle, right?
We are going have to have a 1 on 5, our guy does a triple back flip, then bicycle kick into Ghana's goal, with two broken arms, for those ref's to call it good.

You're just projecting now - sport as a fashion accessory. You've been surrounded by plastic Californians supporting the Kings for too long. A real life version of the Swingers movie, all Gretzky jerseys and EA sport games in a desert wasteland.

Plastic as it may be, at least it's folks in California rooting for a team in their home state.
In a discussion about prematurely balding, Otis sized greaseballs sporting a jersey of a country their family fled from four generations ago, I am the one who is projecting? Pfffffft. Comrade please.

I doubt Otis is a prime example of any culture. As I type, he's trying to satisfy a woman who's only ambition in life, is have a messageboard to call her own and rule as she sees fit.
Conversations at the dinner table revolve around the Leafs and moderating skills. I personally, think he's Scottish.

Heard yesterday that ABC's cameras will looking in on a huge watch party in KC's downtown Power & Light District this afternoon. Expecting over 10,000 to crowd the P&L's surrounding bars and jam the courtyard to watch the match on big screens. Should be a helluva party! Planning on keeping an ear to game while watching the Tards-Royals out at the K....

I called it before the game that the US would give up a goal in the first 15 min and LO AND BEHOLD I was right. I despise teams that start flat. If the US didn't start halves flat, they would still be playing.

well, they certainly created plenty of opportunities, just couldn't cash them in. Unlike Ghana, who made us pay with both of theirs. Have to give credit where it's due, both of those goals were things of beauty.

Yeah, but the blown call on the ball over the goal line was way more egregious than the blown offsides call.
FIFA really needs to get its shit together. Anyone else think one ref on the field is too few?
