But Cerritos is not adjacent to Beverly Hills, it's adjacent to Artesia. It's a LOT nicer than Artesia... yet Cerritos is the town with the Wal-Mart. Just sayin'.

WW: EXACTLY. No matter what Wal-Mart I've gone to (not counting the one near my parents), kids run out of nowhere right in front of my cart. People of Wal-Mart, CONTROL YOUR CHILDREN!!

Who's to say whose children they really are? Maybe they're just Sam's kids, and they're as much a part of the facility as the tract lighting and the dripping fat everywhere.

walmarts are like any other place. Go to one out in the burbs and it's full of normal harmless white folk. Go to the one in manchester Ct which has it's share of ghetto along with nearby e.hartford that has a little more than it's fair share and, well, you can imagine what the inside of that place is like.

I was there one day about a year ago when two twentyish looking puerto rican dudes walked by me. Each one had a big ass WWF action figure in their hands. I'd like to think they were buyign them for their nephews, but, I could just tell that they were gonna take them back to the ghetto and play with them, themselves. It took every bit of self control I had to keep from running to the folding chair isle to pick a weapon and run back and beat them to death.

That's why I fuggin' hate Target (sorry pp). No self-checkouts, and only 3 people working registers at any given time. WAR MEIJER.
War Meijer - and War Target

Just an FYI about Target - if you say something, and I do mean anything to a Mgr. about slow checkout they will open a new lane unless they are totally maxed. Their corporate directive for the Super Centers is not to have more than 2 customers in checkout que - without opening another lane.

And their trying out some pretty fucking cool technology to help alert them if this situation happens.

You can also send their Corp office an e-mail - I think they'll send you a 20% off coupon for your next visit.

The Walmarts around here are pretty decent, other than the last time I was in around midnight and had a LOUD employee at the checkout greeting customers as they walked into the store. Only other thing that irks me about it is the electric shopping carts and some of the idiots behind the wheel of said cart.

Would you go downtown to pick up a toothbrush, a pair of jeans, a DVD, and grab some groceries?
Sure, but I can't...in large part because of Wal-Mart.
You mean I cannot buy jeans, a toothbrush, a DVD or groceries in downtown Detroit, Lansing, Flint, or Saginaw because of Wal-Mart? Pfffft. No.

I cannot buy groceries in these downtowns, well, excepting Lansing, because blacks have forced these grocers out of town. There's no money to be made when you have to lock-down your stores with iron bars, have on-site security 24/7, the residents have a greater need to booze and smokes than groceries, and the local black elected officials have run the town into the dirt.

As well, cloting retailers ran out of town, oh, about two decades ago with the emergence of the shopping mall, for example, Northland Mall here in Detroit that were located on the edge of the city.

But that doesn't mean that there isn't amply opportunity to score a new brush at the local liquor store or a new dvd at the local Blockbuster.

WTF are you talking about Walmart shoving retailers out of downtown...??

Maybe in small towns, think population of 50,000 or more. Maybe. But even then...thank goodness because I'm now paying less for a toothbursh and that dvd and that book.

If yuo want to spend more money of common products like that, be my guest, but please don't carp about ordinary Americans wanting to spend less money on their household items. Idjit.

They could dominate the industry. Look at their current clientel. They've already got a large customer base that loves tats. A lot of them already get the cheapest and cheesiest ones they could find. Why not make the search for the lowest price, quality, and tasteless tats as easy as finding the cheapest 10w40 around?

They're letting a fucking gold mine slip right through their fingers with over half the customers that walk out their doors.

Half a mile, 5 miles, whatever. The nearest store from my home was Kroger. That's where I shopped. Stop acting like you know wtf you're talking about.
