I'm on my second one of these:



A little more pricey but the sound is awesome. If I want to listen to music in the shower I put it on top of the bathroom counter and the entire cabinet pretty much turns into a large subwoofer.

As far as gift-giving, I've pretty much given up trying to figure out what anybody might "need" or want. For the past few years I've only given consumables - wine, food, booze - because everybody already has too much junk. I don't want anybody to give me anything I have to figure out when to wear, where to display or how to store.
