It will be cleared through probate and sold on Ebay to the highest bidder.

I say leave the modship there. It is a cool yet eerie feeling seeing him still there.

Good idea- in addition to the new name, it's a fitting tribute.

Ditto.

Can't help wondering if any of the 'now' bleeding hearts who use to beat on him mercilessly ('sup Phoneys), would treat him any dif if he were to now miraculously reappear?

I don't know. It takes a lot of people to moderate that forum. In between altering Dins' popsts to include Flaming Lips references and altering Dins' posts to include fewer Budweiser Blues references its a busy job.

Well said.

I post once in a blue moon, yet eternal tards like Dins, well, will always be an eternal tard.

I don't wish you death Dins. Just that what you do and say comes back to you 10 fold.

Up to you whether that's a good or bad thing.

Yes, and it leads to this bio on another page.
The Media Page

So who am i?
:Dennard Summers

What do i do?
:I am a music/pop culture writer based in Pittsburgh, with previous bylines in In Pittsburgh Newsweekly,Pittsburgh City Paper,Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and SRO Magazine and MK Ultra. Currently,I am also the main music boy for Post-Meridian:The Night Sentinel,a entertainment monthly magazine based in Pittsburgh.

What's the idea behind this?
:The entertainment line will be a page with music news, reviews as well as links to sites that I like personally. The music news and reviews will be less goth, but will not lean towards MTV or anything like that.

My Radio Life

Okay...now between 1986-1990,I was an air personality at The University Of Toledo's campus radio outlet,WXUT-FM doing a weekend show as well as doing news and occasional sportscast.

When I moved to Pittsburgh,I did a summer stint at Carnegie-Mellon's free-form WRCT-FM,however that didn't pan out because the DJ's felt that I sounded too professional for a college station. I shifted over to WYEP-FM,but I didn't get along with the overnight host at the time. So,being that Pittsburgh was no place for beginners,I switched over to news writing doing record reviews for SRO Magazine in Pittsburgh. However, that died when the paper annouced that it would fold due to a lack of advertising.

I switched over to In Pittsburgh Newsweekly, but the paper had its own stable of music writers.Which led me over to the Pittsburgh City Paper, where I earned a rep for my record reviews.I left the City Paper when I wans't getting enough work and started to concentrate on fanzines.Fourm 69/Backwards Dog to be precise. From there, under a different editor,I latched on at In Pittsburgh and when I really started off doing media stories for them and getting the ear of local radio programmers and readers.

That gig ended when the editor left for another paper and the new editor, having not seen my work(He was from Idaho) decided to go in-house rather than use stringers.

Which led me to Alex Zander, who started up the goth-leaning tabloid MK Ultra.I do usually commentaries as well as music reviews and the odd interview.I latched on to WYEP-FM again during this time.but it was not meant to be for there was creative and personal differences.Right now I am looking for work as a freelance writer in a stable situation.

Here's some things that I happen to like
1.Music-alternative(not Alanis or Pearl Scam),industrial,eclectic,britrock(Pulp,Blur,Portishead)

2.radio personalities-Howard Stern,Scott Ferrall:stations WXDX-FM(Pittsburgh) WIOT-FM(Toledo,Ohio),WRRK-FM(not Jim Quinn),ESPN radio(particularly Tony Bruno)

4.Hockey teams-Detroit Red Wings,Toledo Storm,Cleveland Lumberjacks,San Jose Sharks

5.Sports-hockey,football(49ers,Lions),college football(Univerisity Of Toledo)

6. Close friend-Jennifer Tschappat:who i've known since we both started college at the University Of Toledo in 1986

pen pal:diana (aka ILM on the chat)

Check Out These Sites
Where it all begin for me in Toledo,88.3FM WXUT

The paper that is a little pretentious and snooty but a good read In Pittsburgh Newsweekly

This is a very brassy and blue collar opposite to In Pittsburgh. The City Paper

I always get my TV and media skinny from this site, check out Shop Talk

For the latest on broadcasting skinny it's Broadcasting and Cable Online
