Looks like some actuary football geek had a little too much time on his hands.

Meaningless statistical wankery.

STL was beatable that year and TN came a yard or two away from doing it in the SB. Da Bears in 85 were, IMO, way out in front in this contest. Kind of ironic that a poor Miami team with nothing to lose was the one to keep them from matching the 72 dolphins. I would next rank late 70s Steelers, 80s Niners and 90s Boys. All three of these had something the Rams didn't, year after year domination. The Rams were pretty much a flash in the pan. But then, I suppose Da Bears kind of were too. But they were one hell of a flash.

That 90s Boys team likely would have rung up a few more had Jerry Jones stayed in the fukkin' owners box and let Jimmy run things on the field. I fukkin' hated the Boys, but that was a damn good team.

1958 Baltimore Colts led by Johnny U.. Oh crap, that's right. There was no Stupor Bowl then.
One note. I hope this year begins the end of using Roman numerals. This year would have been Super Bowl L, but I see they hype it as Super Bowl 50.
Will next year be Super Bowl LI, or 51?

The 75 Steelers are 18th. This moron should ram a prosthetic cock into his algorithm.

I wonder if someone could teach you how to not post ridiculously shitty lists.

I already know how to play shuffleboard:

You do realize Miami was upset that year in the AFC Championship game by the wildcard Patsies? The fish choked away a Superbowl re-match.

No, I didn't. My recollection was that they weren't going anywhere that year. All I do recall is that their beating da Bears was a big shock. I thought they were a middle of the pack team at best.

I heard the stats geek who runs the Prediction Machine website on the Dan Le Batard show a while back. He was touting his fool-proof "Predictilator" in an attempt to get a bunch of morons to go to his site and fork over their credit card info for his "stone cold locks." Anyway, he proceeded to list four of his NFL locks and I made a mental note of them. He went 1 for 4.

In other words, that list sucks ass.

Papa Willie wrote:'72 Dolphins. 'Nuff said. Perfection, and they beat up on a LOT of teams that year.

Nobody understood the 46 Defense in '85 (not knocking them - they were a great team), but it quickly went by the wayside when everybody did start figuring it out.
It didn't help Da Bears that next season some Packer D Lineman decided to power slam the Punky QB. McMahon was never the same after that hit. Oh, And Walter started to really decline. Even so, from 84 to 88, the Bears D never ranked below 4th in points scored or 2nd in yards allowed and they made the playoff every year. As for the 46 being figured out, explain Buddy Ryan's Eagles defenses in the early 90s.

Nah, too young. He fought with Churchill at Blenheim.
