Not so fast.

Sin,
The Cars
The Cars would have been so much better had they died in a plane crash during the tour for Candy-O.

A car crash woulda been more appropriate.

I think Wags needs to reread Bri's post.

Either that, or Wags believes that the Cars did anything non-horrific after Candy-O.

More like, they earned a lifetime pass for anything after Candy-O... that they certainly don't deserve a death wish by train, plane or automobile.

Do they still tour? I would pay to see them.

That was kind of my original point/joke.

They do indeed tour (or have recently). Without Ric Ocasek. And without Ben Orr... since he died like 15 years ago. Might as well go see a tribute band.

If they can get Trey Anastasio to fill in, they should be good to go.

They don't "tour." They played a reunion tour in 2011 for their new album.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

This statement applies much better to the Stones/Some Girls, maybe Tatoo You.

Some of you remind me of Robert Hilburn, disliking good stuff for no other reason than to try to appear hip or avant garde. You people probably have Creed cd's in your cars.

Not me. I dislike the Eagles because they're mediocre on their best day.

In what way? I understand you don't like them, but what is the measuring stick? How the fukk do you quantify whatever the fukk it is we are measuring? Is it musical complexity? I suppose they are fairly simple in that respect. But, there is plenty of simple music that is great, as there is complex wankery that is horrific.

They may have been the shit back in the day, but after 35 years or so to asses their body of work, they were mediocre.

That doesn't mean that I dislike them, just that I haven't and won't be buying their greatest hits CD.

I think he's more of a David Bowie/Mick Jagger expert....

That wasn't quite what I was referencing.

Sorry. Just when we are talking about LTS, the gayest end of the spectrum is the default setting.
