Let's kill some countdown time

Post by Dinsdale »

So, the local radio hacks brought up a great topic - the All-Time Horrible Person Team. NCAA, NFL, all fair game.

Some names that came up quickly:

Head Coach - Barry Switzer

We can debate head coach, but I'm pretty sure there won't be any debate about who coaches the linebackers, right?

Ralph Friedgen might belong on the staff somewhere.

QB is open to all kinds of discussion. Mike Vick? Charles Thompson?

In the backfield, the two-prong attack of OJ and Lawrence Phillips might be hard to beat. Bam Morris could be the 3rd down guy. Corey Dillon might get some snaps.

It'd be hard to not chuck the rock to Rae Carruth.

Obviously have to run 2 tight end sets - while a certain recently released Patriot has this one sewn up for all time (we hope), can we really justify keeping Jerramy Stevens off the field?

Sebass Jano could kick some field goals.

RayRay might find a spot at LB... a position that's going to be hotly contested.

Jack Tatum prowling the backfield.

Let's hear them.

BTW, yes, I did have two players from one (CFB) team on my list... hehehehe.

Hey, maybe Barrah is a coach on the team, but certainly not HC. That would have to go to Paterno. The DC would be Sandusky. Is this even debateable?

Dr Tom might get a graduate assistant or volunteer coach spot just based on the simple action of reinstating LP.

Throw in all the Peter brothers for the defensive line and Richie Incognito for the OL. Marcus Vick at WR or QB. Travis Henry as a back up RB.

This guy's credentials are pretty solid. If he doesn't have one of the OLB spots locked up, something is wrong. Greatest pass rusher of all-time and [allegedly] raped a 16 year old. Plus a litany of other offenses.

Debatable. They do seem to share a common bond -- that one should turn a blind eye to sexual assaults "for the good of the Program."

The DC would be Sandusky. Is this even debateable?
I mentioned linebacker coach. I wasn't even going to mention his name. Figured you guys would come up with an apt DC.

Sure, the Not-So-Good-Doctor spawned his share of lowlifes, but I'm not quite sure he's Hall-Of-Fame horrible...

Then again, he quit football to get into politics... he's in.

LT is a solid pick. As I mentioned, I think LB is going to be a very deep spot on the roster. Hollywood Henderson was a LB, right?

Let's not forget Plaxico... he's not a very good guy.

Current events... nice.

Although we could make this easy, and just go with the OL from the 90's Cowboys and be done with it... but that kinda defeats the point of a discussion.
Marcus Vick at WR or QB.
I actually considered Marcus, but didn't figure he was good enough to be an "all-time" anything.

Travis Henry as a back up RB.
Solid.

So, is Nebraska now leading the pack here? In fairness, I've been trying to think of an Oregon player here belongs here -- can't think of anyone truly horrible... "less-than-good," sure, but not coming up with "horrible."

Seems like all the major conferences are well represented here.

If we're going to smack our own, Kevin Pendergast might make a good addition to the special teams:

(Best I could do)

Oooh! David Terrell could be added to the WR corps.

Travis Henry, too.

OK, I'll toss Cliff Harris in here. Since his forgettable descent from All-American to NFL flameout, he's had some trouble with DV and DUII. Not really "All-Time" status, but I had to get a Duck in there.

I was thinking the guy who got indicted today for one of the 5 people he's killed.

Doubt anybody is going to come up with anyone worse.

If any of the previously mentioned players have a television that comes up missing we could reserve a roster spot for Cedric Benson to go and retrieve said television by all means necessary. And if Switzer runs out of guns and dope in the dorms we could get Ron Meyer and Jackie Sherill to just hand out stacks of cash or maybe a vintage Trans Am with T tops to entice the real talent to come to campus.

Solid.

Carson, no worries. We know how SECBSH rolls. Ignoring reality... "SEC good... everyone else bad. Money has nothing to do with rankings, even though the voters have a vested interest. SEC good... everyone else bad."

I forgive you, even though cavemen think you guys are retarded.

BTW, I made a mistake myself -- should have said "one of the at least 5 people he has (allegedly) killed." Two errors there. Which on a sidenote, makes anything any pro athlete has ever done seem mild. Dude's been offing people with impunity up until now, going back to his... SEC days. If we know about 5, how many more are there?

The two biggest scumbags in College Football today... hands down.

1. Les Miles

2. Jeremy Hill RB lsu

Video of Hill coming from behind to beat a bar patron senseless.

http://www.sbnation.com/college-footbal ... t-sentence

Oh... that's just the latest from this piece of shit !

Here is how he acted before Les Miles signed him to play at lsu

Hill originally signed with LSU in 2011, but didn't attend LSU that year after being arrested on charges of oral sexual battery involving a 14-year-old girl. He eventually pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and accepted a six-month suspended sentence with supervised probation for two years.

Nothing says "character" like forcing a 14 year old girl... to give you a "blow job".

What does Les Miles do ???

Jeremy Hill reinstated by Les Miles, can practice with LSU immediately

Have to agree with Toodles on this one. Miles is, and this kid sounds like, a huge piece of shit.

Ugh, this stuff coming out about Terrell/Gibbons/Lewan has made me sick to my stomach. I hope none of it is remotely true. That is not the way Michigan Men are supposed to behave. I know this stuff happens everywhere, but it's NOT supposed to happen at THE University of Michigan. We pride ourselves on being the Leaders & Best.

So, Screw's troll? I'm thinking possibly, but then again, I don't know if he's smart enough to pull that off.
