I've been seeing a lot about this in the last few days, not just Jones' version.

While I hate to be the BizzarroLTS...

Some of this shit just doesn't add up. While on the surface, a hoax all but defies belief...

But it sure looks to be one, designed to shock ans awe... but poorly produced.

I'd think they'd do a better job of hiding the "victims," rather than having them caught on video after their "death."

And the professional actor from Mission Viejo[/i] down the street but past the fire station should probably have rehearsed more, so he could get the story straight about the yelling man[/i] distraught woman[/i] bus driver who led the kids past the firehouse then left them unattended with an old man who just moved into a house near a school who just happened to have a pile of teddy bears in his living room... who then heard the story of what happened from the kids... 30 minutes later. But hey - he had no idea that anything was going on, despite claiming to be outside while his street was choke with cops.

Not sure which of the several radically different stories of his we're supposed to believe.

And the "grieving father" who is whooping it up and having a grand old time until he thinks the cameras are rolling, then turns on the waterworks sure seems a little off. Actually, several parents sure seem to drop out of character when they don't think cameras are rolling.

And the police chief saying that anyone who reports any information that didn't come from him will be prosecuted? A little over the top.

There's plenty more to this story that sure seems awfully fishy... like most of it.

I'm not saying it's a hoax... just that it has all the makings of one. All that's missing is Manti Te'o wailing about winning a game for the "victims."

BTW -- At the beginning of the video, you see Robert Parker, the "victim's" father at the podium crying his eyes out, as a grieving father naturally would.


Right after whooping it up, joking around, then asking "are we ready to start?"

Jesus, dude. You are making LTSTRN2 look less like a lunatic than usual, and that takes effort.

It's taken days and days to convince me.

It appears so far outside of the realm of possibility, it's borderline impossible to even fathom.


Except the evidence is overwhelming.


Dozens upon dozens of problems with the story... and very clear photographic evidence that at least one of the "victims" is still alive and well.

How long do you figure it takes to empty a 15 round mag from a glock or sig? 6 or 7 seconds? 3 seconds to reload and the second mag is done in another 8 seconds. That's 30 rounds in under 20 seconds.

I do a mental eye roll whenever I hear someone spout off about the various conspiracies surrounding whatever the particular topic is for the day, but being far removed from US news over here in Afghanistan, I was in the messhall when they had CNN on instead of the NFL Network for a change. I was aware that Sandy Hook occured the day before, so I was rather nonplussed to see the father of Emilie Parker, ambitiously making use of his allotted fifteen minutes of fame by going out and doing a presser for a political cause rather than just expressing grief at losing his daughter.

Now, after having seen the footage from this video that shows him yukking it up just prior to his camera moment, I have to say he is either a very cold and calculating son of a bitch or he was not Emilie's biological father or... something. As a dad I cannot imagine a circumstance where such emotional callousness would ever present itself a single day after my child had met a violent end. Furthermore, by using the opportunity afforded him to push for a political agenda just seems incredibly Democratic Party-ish, where the political ends always justify the means.

In this I agree with Dins, the Parker press conference, in and of itself, smells very fishy.

Edit: Ok, that rabbit punch about the Democrats is over-the-top, but still the gist of my post remains the same: Mr. Parker is not what he seems or trys to portray himself as, ie. a loving, doting father tearfully memorializing his daughter. And there is something abjectly corrupt about that in light of the situation.

I remember when I first read the whole 9/11 conspiracy theories and my first reaction was to think
