So the show is big over there too, huh? :?

Pssst, missjo... they're all talentless on American Idol. If they weren't they wouldn't have to go on a show that is nothing more than a karaoke contest in order for a shot at success. It's really not anything to get upset about.

I have no idea what you are talking about missjo. I can honestly say I've never seen one episode of American Idol.

Why? This is the same country that swallowed Milli Vanilli, C&C Music Factory, The Spice Girls and MC Hammer hook line and fucking sinker. This, in the history of American bad music taste, is not even a new low water mark.

I agree missjo. Scott and Anthony are terrible, just terrible. (Although Scott's performance last week was very good. All his other weeks, terrible. Plus he's incapable of smiling. Anthony is just terrible, period.

Regardless of what those in this forum that claim to know what good music is (*snicker*), there is actually some talent on AI this season. The problem is with who actually votes. I'm guessing it's the teeny boppers that do most of the voting, because I sure don't take the time to call up and vote. And we know teeny boppers aren't mature enough to make all the correct decisions. I don't think it's any big deal, because all these kids in the top 10 will get some success from doing this show.

B,
It's not going to kill you to be schooled by the "supposed" soccer mom now is it? How about less of "reps" and personal attacks and more of addressing the issue? I guess though if you don't watch American Idol, you should just skidaddle back to the Spin Forum since that is your "talent."

The issue is that people who watch American "Idol" are pathetic fucking sheeple. I simply expressed my lack of surprise that you were amongst that group.

I could say that people that listen to crappy music* are pathetic. But that wouldn't be real intelligent or enhance my feelings. If that's what entertains you, why bash it? If it makes you feel better, I'll entertain your less than mature musings, shall we say.

Neither is butchering the English language, but you don't let that stop you, either.

Nor is making a post invalidating the opinions of "teeny boppers," shortly after copping to borrowing their albums, and then threatening to put a "schooling" on someone.

Still waiting for a valid point.

And don't compare borrowing a CD of an artist that is already successful to teens voting for amatures on AI. (Yes, they are still amatures at this point.)

Trev,

I'm still waiting to be "schooled". And I will say that people who listen to crappy music are pathetic. With so many choices out there for entertainment, when a peice of crap like American Idol get's top ratings, it only shows that most Americans have absolutely no taste whatsoever.

 There ya go B. I knew I could count on you.

It's really a waste of your time to complain about shows,
entertainment and music that others like.

Keep fighting the good fight.

I'm not complaining about the show. I'm smacking the idiots who watch them.

Got it?

my guess(and its educated...alledgely) is that american karoke voters have been voting off those with any reasonable talent-which is not saying much and keeping the dorks like savol in.

here's hoping that they bust American Karaoke for the jake jobs.
