but this should clue you in as to what it will sound like...(according to ?uestlove from The Roots)
here the deal
11 songs are done.
most need lyrics.
most are in the 7-9 minute range
all are epic as fuck.
imo--most need a haircut.
shit i love
but shit i know the marketplace aint even ready for.
if "untitled" video is what got him over on the idiot side of things
he is gonna have to get his physical game back and come with some
strong ass imagaining to make up for the fact that there WILL be no radio
friendly single--
newbies im warning you now.....if you want to "understand" this record--you MUST

purchase and study the following:

-funkadelic
-maggot brain
-america eats its young
-cosmic slop
-standing on the verge of getting it on
-let's take it to the stage
-tales of kidd funkadelic
-there's a riot going on
-on the corner
-inspiration information
-smile
-abbey road
-revolver
-electric ladyland
-nevermind the bullocks here comes the sex pistols
-dirty mind
-on the corner
-ego
-tony willaims emergency

lower your expectations. this WILL throw you for a loop.
i'll believe it when i hear it,in the meantime get VooDoo and prepare to get your mind blown.

what was the best cut on Terence Trent D'arby's 2nd record again?
""On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!"

Voodoo was genius. Big fan of that album save the Roberta Flack cover. Didn't know D'Angelo blew the fuck up like that.

Has written 11 hiphop songs, but most still need lyrics?

Funny shit. Even wannabe musicians are trolling these days.

The bastion of Budweiser Blues is offering musical opinions? In the future, just go ahead and offer those opinions to your floaters before they flush. Probably get a better response than trying that ignorant crap here.

still on 26...

That would be Vibrator.

"Sooner or later..."

edit:Nope, I'm off by one album.

D'Angelo worships at the feet of Prince so I am wondering why his name or any of his albums are not on this list. If you listen to "Untitled," you know what I mean. Wasn't that big a fan of Voodoo. Dug the song with Meth and Red but with "Untitled," it seems he shot his load on that album.
