I may never make it to Magnolia Lane...

Post by BSmack »

... however, a friend of my pops went this year. Rack my dad for remembering me when he tossed a couple hundy at said pal for Masters souvenirs.

Rack your dad, Bri. I'll probably never make it there either but I have a former high school teammate whose daughter is on the grounds crew at Augusta National and gets him in whenever he can arrange it. He's been there numerous times and has played the course a few times too. I'll have to slip him a few bucks the next time he goes and have him make a purchase for me.

The dad of my son's friends at his Jr. High has a replica of the 12th in his backyard. Said he's played it a couple of times. I asked him to marry me.

Maybe you can. But this one was bought at Augusta.

Oh yeah, that would make it worth an extra $150. I think the ones on the interwebs were originally bought at Augusta, too.

Ahhhhh, that's your angle. You think pops paid 200 bills for a single hat?

Actually, the hat cost 25 bucks. Augusta doesn't mark their shit up on site. If anything, concessions at Augusta have always been known to be overly reasonable compared to the other majors. He also got some more hats and a shirt. I believe my brothers also got hats and he kept a hat and shirt for himself.

You must have me confused with Rack Fu or Indy Frisco on your spreadsheet.
