Banana Bread Beer

Yeah, yeah. I know what you're gonna say. Save it. This was actually pretty good assuming you like beer and you like banana bread. I picked up a pint on a whim for the OL who likes fruit beers like lambics etc. It's definitely a novelty beer, but worth trying. I expected it to be sweet, thick and cloying, but it wasn't any of the above. The flavor of banana bread was present yet nicely understated and had the crisp, mineral finish of classic English pale ales.

A pleasant surprise if you're willing to step outside your comfort zone for a bit.
