Segment 3 Results

Post by Mac22 »

turns out i copied the wrong line after the sonoma race and listed the previous weeks session and overall totals. because of this, segment two picks carried 10 races instead of 9. totals are now correct (thanks for the catch DD, too bad i didn't notice the PM until now), and are reflected in the chicago points totals.
hopefully that was clear as mud.

this break before the Brickyard will give you time to choose your teams for Segment 3.

Is RCR on a roll or what?

For all you bitches still slobbering HMS knob, how stupid do you feel now?

Bow to the greatness that is Richard Childress Racing.

Oh, and Rack the Joplin boy. If a seat opens up again someday on the RCR team, his ass would be a good fit.

I was tempted to pick Mark Martin this time. Who would think the old fart had anything left in him?

He drives for Hendrick, so he should be a contender.

Oh wait, driving for Hendrick hasn't seemed to help the #88.

Actually, that was one of the best POCONO races ever.

Which I know isn't saying much, but still.... there was some actual racing going on for a change. Usually, my drive to work in the morning is more exciting than POCONO.

If ever a track didn't deserve 2 races a year, this is the one.

Don't know about Kentucky, but Kansas Speedway is lobbying hard for a 2nd race. They're building a Hard Rock casino right behind turn 2 and the deal was supposedly that if we build this, we will get a 2nd race.

ISC owns Kansas Speedway and ISC (International Speedway Corporation) basically owns NASCAR.

Do the math.

You may be correct Mucho. On a Nascar Today show a few weeks ago they said it was close to a done deal that Kentucky hosts a race next year. Who loses that race was still up for debate.

This should put to rest all doubt.

That Bruton Smith bought the track 2 years ago I'm sure is just a coincidence.

It looks like Kentucky is getting their race at the expense of Atlanta, one of the last places I would've expected or wanted to lose a race.

You'd figure that Atlanta would draw much better than it has over the years.

I remember coming back from a hockey road trip the morning of one of the Atlanta races and I 75 South was absolutely packed going into Hampton and we were stuck for a while.
