Petey to the Seahawks...

Post by Snake »

ESPN.com NFC West blogger Mike Sando has thoughts, analysis and more on the firing of Seattle coach Jim Mora. Story

Will Carroll be part of it? In a text message Friday, he said, "You know I haven't responded to a NFL question in two years." But a league source said Carroll is interested in the job and is trying to persuade USC offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates to join him in Seattle -- as opposed to Bates pursuing the same position with the Chicago Bears.

Said another source close to Carroll: "You're about to see a big headline that shakes up the major college football world," in reference to the Seahawks' development. The Seahawks did not confirm but also did not deny that Carroll is a leading candidate to become coach

Mort just said on ESPN that it would be a surprise if he wasn't coaching Seattle next year.

If sanctions are possibly coming down then why would anyone like Saban take the job? He's got a gold mine where he is. Now maybe Peterson from Boise St would take it, but I heard that Riley is the first logical choice then Jeff Fisher and Jack Del Rio.

Peterson loves Boise State and his son has a rare disease that a hospital in Boise is one of the best in the world at treating. His family also loves it there.

Yea their SoCal dominance is over....who's suppose to over take them? UCLA??? LOL

Dude, you're crazy. You're years and years behind and SC will be fine, especially with the guys on the hit list. We're elite, you're not. Deal with it.

Yeah because it's not like USC has ever had a four or five year period where they weren't a national power or anything.

When did MirvCalTrjn show up, 2003? Yeah, you can bet we don't see his ass in here for a long while. I'm still hoping he named his sons Lyle and Eric.
