Unless Ole Miss shows big the SEC West promises to be a cripple fight this season.

Arkansas: cripple

MSU: cripple

Auburn: new coach, new offense, new everything, coming off a horrible year and horrible recruiting...cripple

LSU: A .500 team, with another new QB, and they lost they best linemen on both sides of the ball, one of their best WR and some of the best LB. Their schedule won't allow them to be any worse than last year's cripple but this will not be a good team.

Bama: Same deal. All new QB, plus they lost their best linemen and their best RB. Again, though, that schedule of theirs simply will not allow them to have a poor record. They skip Florida and Georgia and they get LSU at home. If they can manage to beat Va Tech their only other hurdles all season long are that home game against a mediocre LSU team, plus the Ole Miss game.

When Ole Miss is your toughest game of the season you don't need to be very good to get to the SEC CCG.

Ole Miss: They lose Oher but they return a quality QB, with experience. They also get to skip Florida and Georgia. In that division having an experienced QB gives them a serious leg up over the competition, plus they get their only two tough games on the schedule, LSU and Bama, at home.

This division looks to come down to the Bama-Ole Miss winner.
