Likewise here. I love watching Busch crumble under pressure. The only sad thing about it is he'll probably drive like a maniac these last 8 races and take out JJ in a crucial race.

I can give you about 99 reasons why that would be irrelevant.

I'm not worried about Carl. His temper will put him into a wall eventually. Maybe Kennseth will take him out for making him look like a complete pussy on national tv

Am I the only one of the leaders who went 49, 99 with their chase picks?

I might just be able to pull this thing out again after all. ;)

I'd worry about that guy if I were one of the other drivers out there. That fucker is flat out ruthless and good.

If he weren't for the fact he drives a frickin' limp dick Ford, I'd be all over homeboy.

Kansas Speedway this weekend, boys and trev... hell, you're one of the boys. Watch out for my other homeboy, Bowyer. He used to race at one of the local dirt tracks (Lakeside) and being from Wichita, this is literally his backyard.

Oh, and one more thing I just noticed today, not that I pay much attention to such things... there are 12 Chase drivers, there are 12 of us who have now participated in this contest for the past few years.

Rack our little slice of redneck heaven.

This was just the beginning for the 99 Meltdown. He'll get caught up in the "big one" this week.

What meltdown?

Did you see the jaw dropping move he put on JJ during the last lap? Video game shit that almost worked. Balls of fucking steel, that boy has.

I'm sorry and the Ford aside, there's just no way possible not to be a big Carl Edwards fan

Final Results... congrats to BSmack on the win...

did a little number crunching, and the results from top to bottom... 1000 points seems like a lot from 1st to 12th, but in reality it is within 6%, or 27 points per week. for a team of four, that is about 2 places per driver in the race.

thanks to all that played

And that's a wrap.

Bri can get a new, updated title... something along the lines of "NASCAR pick'em Dynasty".

Thanks to Mac. Your efforts have been much appreciated and won't be forgotten.

And thanks to all those who have participated thru-out.

Let's do it again next year.

Thank you. And thank you for running the show. It's been a blast win or loose. But I have to admit that getting over on the back of Kyle Busch's amazing tank job is the sweetest win yet. At least until the #24 car wins title #5.

Yes... and Hell No!

Politics, NASCAR, and JFFL make strange bed fellows... but I have to say Bri... you're about the least likely Neckcar fan on the planet.

You do realize that probably 99% of anyone and everyone associated with NASCAR is a staunch conservative Republican? From the teams to the fans, we're redneck red staters. This you know.

What, are you trying to infiltrate the base?

Rack your seditious win, bro... but I don't have to like it.

Hey, my dad was taking me to one of the local short tracks back when I was just a little BSmack. He was and is still a fan of the King and so was I. And of course any western NY resident had to be a little proud when Geoff Bodine took the checker in the 86 Daytona 500. And let me ask you this? Who's had Winston/Nextel/Sprint Cup racing longer? Western NY or the Kansas City area?

Anyway, I should also note that North Carolina, home of NASCAR HQ and just about all of it's teams, went Democratic this November. And your 3 time Cup Champion is a California native. The world is changing David. The world is changing. It's only a matter of time before the "Yes We Can!" 500 is run at Talledega.

I'd love to see more black people at Nascar races. I don't consider myself a redneck and didn't get into Nascar until I found you freaks at these board. It's been riveting to watch. This year was a tad boring, but Nascar is something you can watch while hanging around the house on a weekend. I'd much rather watch a race on a Saturday night (or Sunday) than any college football game. I do plan on going to a race live as soon as possible.

Obama should attend a race, it might gain him some conservative support. I'd love to see that.

Rack your dad.

Just as all politics is mostly local, so is racing. If you ever went to short tracks as kid, you're hooked for life.

I trust you're going to be celebrating Thanksgiving dinner with the old man next week? You better be.

The world is changing.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

My world isn't changing, if I can help it. I like my world just fine, thank you very much.
