For my next book to read.....

Post by battery chucka' one »

Am conflicted between The Rise of Silas Lapham, The Heat of the Night, and Cannery Row. Any opinions? Let them be heard. Will make a choice tonight at 9:00.

1. Never read that one, Goobs.

2. That book wasn't an option in the original post. Read more, post less. Better luck next time.

Just trying to help you find something more suited to your intellectual level. Read more, post never. Better luck in your next life.

Check out "Truman" by David McCullough.
In fact, go get the CD read by the author himself.

Heard Dubya has a copy.

Cannery Row is a great book - should take all of 3 hours to read. Definitely post your thoughts on it.

I don't have the three hours to spend in a row. However, am a little over half done (I've been reading over my lunch hour). So far, it's very entertaining. Will post more after I finish.
