Leinart and Young are laughable choices...

I'd love for Calvin Johnson to be the next great offensive weapon in a Lions uniform...Hall of Fame is a bit much at this point.

He's a bust how? Roy Williams doesn't suck either...even though he's probably not going to be a Lion beyond this year. Yes, Chuck Rogers and Fat Mike were bust...I don't think anyone would dispute that.

Shoalzie has a point. A bust is a player who fails to live up to expectations. A player drafted by Matt Millen is expected to suck, therefore he would be performing as expected, not as a bust.

That's just fucking stupid. Both Edge and Adrian Wilson are headed for the HoF. Maybe not first ballot, but they'll be there. But putting Leinart on this list is idiotic. Warner has 2 SB rings and he'd be a long shot at this point. And Leinart hasn't done shit yet. On the other hand, neither Boldin or Fitzgerald get a mention?

Whoever made this list up is a moron.

Adrian Wilson?!? Who?
Color me shocked you wouldn't know. Of course you think Brian Urlacher isn't going into the HoF, so consider the source.

BTW, Rodney Harrison should be on the list as well.

Who the fuck is A.J.Hawk?

Probably because he hasn't lead the league in receiving yards the last four years, you FAT FUCKING RETARD.

Any other questions?

NFL records

James led the league in rushing during his rookie and sophomore season. He's currently the record holder for most total yards from scrimmage per game in a regular season career.

At 9,226 total yards as a Colt, James holds the Colts' team record for most career total yards rushing.

As of 2006 game 5, James is #2 career average yards per game (100+ games) at 123, behind only Jim Brown (126). Similarly he is in the top 5 for career touchdowns per game.

During a Monday night game against the Bears on October 15 2006, James carried the ball 36 times for only 55 yards. This set an NFL record as the most carries for an average gain of under 2 yards. [3]

James is currently first in career rushing yards among active players. [4]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgerrin_James" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Aside from the stat from that rather unfortunate Bears game, pretty impressive so far. And he just turned 30. And this will be the first season in 10 years the Cards OLine returned 5 starters from the previous. Plus one more year to get their (first season under a new head coach last year) new schemes in place, a guy named Grimm coaching the OLine, The best WR tandem in the NFL to take pressure off of the run...

Feel free to write his obit after only 1200 or so yards last year.

Than sit back and watch.

Yeah, let's just put everybody in. Fuck it. Wouldn't want any hurt feelings.
Brooks is a 10 time Pro Bowl pick and a former Defensive POY. He's in.

Dawkins shouldn't get in until Dick LeBeau gets in. And even then, I'd say he's borderline.

Unfair to compare a CB with a S though LeBeau has some nice stats for a CB. Dawkins may not be a 1st ballot HOF and that's due, in part b/c of his low INT but JJ has used him as a hybrid blitzing LB/S which is shown in his career sack totals. Dawk also has more FF than Ronnie Lott and Lott is the best safety of all time.

I'd put James in the same category as Ricky Watters, who some think belongs in the Hall.
I'm not among the folks thinking that.

Very good player, very good career ... just not quite HoF level, IMO.

This is a list of some very good current NFL players. A few will make the HOF. Most will not.

It's also a troll job to stir up debate.

Some of the dudes on the list are 2-3 year players.

Sorry some of you took the bait. Bode ESPN.

This list is really stupid.

This was before the start of the '07 season and they didn't put 'Dre Johnson on it?

I always enjoy the debates on HOF'ers, usually has some very divided opinions. Good talks. But debating the merits of this list = swallowing the bait.

I'll cut the little guy some slack, Andre Johnson is a very talented football player, but to hear the local fish hacks tell it, he's going to shatter all NFL receiving records.

I Think Rumps needs to put on some music from time to time on the ride home.
