OCmike's Humpday Challenge

Post by OCmike »

OCmike's Humpday Challenge ...(Extra Special Bitchy Bace Friday Edition)

There is only one rule: No more than one correctly answered question per person, per hour.

Rulebreakers and assholes will be reprimanded in the traditional form of the posting of bad song lyrics which will then be stuck in your head the remainder of the day. Don't make me do it, people...I know 'em all.

1. Who threw the most interceptions in the NFL last year?

2. What state is this:

Image

3. Everyone knows Jackie Robinson was the first black man to play in MLB, but who was the second(and first to play in the American League)?

4. What was the name of the founder and CEO of Wendy’s fast food restaurants?

5. Just about everyone has heard the Social Distortion cover version of “Ring of Fire”, but who was the artist that originally recorded the song?

6. How “pure” is Ivory soap according to the label?

7. Where did the Waldorf Salad get its name?

8. What was the result of the essay that Kurt Vonnegut wrote about himself for Thornton Mellon in the movie “Back to School”?

9. What are the health benefits of Red Panax Chinese Ginseng?

10. Who is #84 in my avatar?

11. What is buried in Mrs. Robert E. Lee's rose garden?

12. What is the substance in hot peppers that makes them hot called?

13. Who is Kate Hudson's mother?

14. What album contains the song lyrics:

I live me dolls
You must believe me
It's plain to see, they really love me
I love my dolls,
they'll never leave me happily

15. Who were the two starting quarterbacks in the 1998 Rose Bowl?

Breath in now breath out
Hands up now hands down
Back up back up
Tell me what you're gonna do now

Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'

13. Who is Kate Hudson's mother?

The chick who used to have the Nicest Ass in Hollywood, before her daughter took the title. That doesn't violate the "one answer rule," does it?

Since we've already had two violators, it's time to drop the hammer...

What I am is what I am.
Are you what you are - or what?

I'm not aware of too many things,
but I know what I know if you know what I mean.

#13 That would be goldie Hawn

Kick the fuckoffs out of the thread, OC. These threads are a deece diversion from all the work I don't want to do, unless the idiots chime in and make you post bad lyrics.

Everyone's correct so far. Can't take the time to update the list, since I'm busy at the new gig.

I don't kick the offenders out because it serves as a reminder for those that might forget the rule.

Replacing their multiple answers with bad song lyrics is a good substitute.

I'd like to suggest some 1910 Fruitgum Co. lyrics for the next ass wipe who does it.

I guess you’ve never been to Arlington National Cemetery. The Lee House and land is a large portion of the grounds. Some Union General buried the soldiers there because he felt like Lee was a traitor for joining the confederacy so he wanted him to never return home and tried to give his OL a good reason to not want to come back herself.

26 (or thereabouts) is what I remember them telling us on the tour. And we all know that a National Parks tour guide making $6.25/hour is never wrong. Seriously, what source did you hear that from?

Without cheating and looking it up, I'll say Johnny Cash.

I wouldn't expect a U&Ler to know that the Waldorf and the Astoria Hotels used to be two separate entities.

Just as I wouldn't expect a fucking retard to know that the question had already been answered.

If you had a beef with the chronology of the Waldorf/Asoria merger, you could have pointed that out...but instead, you chose to continue with your relentless quest to prove what a fucking retard you are.

It was first created around 1893 at the Waldorf Hotel in New York City (the precursor of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel which opened in 1931).
You can shut up any time now, Cliffy.

I have a serious question for the both of you...

Do either one of you really think you're funny?

I mean sure, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every onve in a while...

but seriously...do either one of you have any idea how completely fucking retarded you are?

And you DO realize that it's YOU TWO'S names that invariably come up when the "legends" cite the reasons why they don't post here any more? You DID know that, right?

Oh, and btw-if you're such an expert, why did you mess up the hyphen?

Yup, even a U&Ler knew how to hyphenate the Waldorf=Astoria. Seen it in print enough times to know that.

B) You actually won't see that link, since the "legends" in question are busy avoiding you.
