Depends on how many games there are. In the past, additional forums were set up due to the fact we were running four or more simultaneous contests during the season. That way, the NFL forum isn't cluttered with a litany of stickied threads.

If it's only the one pick-em we're talking about, an additional forum would be overkill; however, if the survivor and confidence games pick up steam again, it's an easy fix.

Uhhh, forums already up. If it's only a thread or two, we can move it back here if needed, or shit can the forum. Your call, Orc.

No probs here.

Typically, the folks running the contests have been made mods of that forum so they don't have to go begging for stickies and locks throughout the year, especially come Sunday morning.

I've done the confidence game the last 2 yrs, and Wagon did it the 2 yrs previous to that.

I'd prefer not to run it again.

There is a bit of a time commitment involved in running that particular game.

If somebody would like to take the ball and run with it, very cool.

If nobody's got a pair then I'll do it again........you lazy bunch of ungrateful losers.

Hopefully someone else will step up and volunteer to run the confidence pool, 'tart. That game actually takes some thought whilst blindly making picks.

If no one volunteers, I'm all for drafting one of the freeloaders who previously played....a certain mod or two ('sup Q and Felix?) come to mind. :)

I just found a script that will run our picks game online and elminiate some of the time investment. Let me see if I can modify it to handle the confidence format, as well.

BOOYA!

Orc, see what you can do with that.

Id be happy to take over the confidence game if Tart would take the regular pickem. I could also do both, but you may not get results until Tues evening. Lemme know.

I have the beta version up and running and am currently testing out the interface. So far, I think it will work out perfectly for the picks game (and for Shoalzie's results); however, I've yet to try to modify for the confidence pool.

That said, there's still plenty of time to either make the fix or find something better to use.

Once this is ready to roll out, we'll have an official sign-up thread in the picks forum. Since the interface requires its own login, I'll PM the registration link to those in the sign-up thread, and you can proceed from there.

Things should be ready in a few days.

Script looks like it will simplify things a lot, so I will handle that and take over the confidence game. Tart, you owe me 6 monster tacos from JitB.
