Steve Garvey....US Senator?

Not a chance.

A Republican hasn't won a seat in the Senate representing CA in 35 years. Dump got trounced in 2020 in CA.

He should look at the 2010 OR gubernatorial race. CA has a lot more Democrats than OR, and that was pre-Trump.

He'll win if all his illegitimate children vote for him.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

You should read the entire article that you linked. Tax collections go up and they go down, depending a lot on the national economy, not just within the state. A large number of Californians (including yours truly) are able this year to defer tax filings until October due to living in counties that were declared disaster zones last year. Last summer there was a $100 billion surplus. Did you declare California to be a superstar last year? The state is not allowed to run a deficit through the fiscal year, so spending has to be adjusted. This was not completely unexpected and does not indicate anything like a “dumpster fire.”

At a very brief early stage of my life I worked for SoCal Gas reading meters. Wasn't there long enough to have my own "route" so took over for others when needed. Was in Calabasas one day working my way to read a meter at nice pad and out walked Cyndy Garvey to fetch her paper almost clad in teddy-like PJ's. Very cordial and friendly. Due to my age, it did require some effort to wait until I got home to rub one out.

We used to call him Senator Steve when he was playing for the Padres because it seemed like he had some political aspirations. Now he’s 74, retired in Palm Springs, and he’s actually running. What a sick joke. I doubt he’ll get too many votes in the Bay Area, even from the two dozen or so Republicans up there.

Between him being a Fodger & an R I doubt that he'll get hardly any votes in a city by a bay.
