Bob Seger - Old Time Rock & Roll
Diana Ross - Hard to say, the Supremes only had 12 #1 Billboard singles. I'll say You Can't Hurry Love, or You Keep Me Hanging On
The Marshall Tucker Band - Can't You See
REO Speedwagon - DGARA - maybe Take it in the Bum?
Van Halen - Jump
Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode
KC and the Sunshine Band - Get Down Tonight
The Animals - We Gotta Get Out of This Place
Neil Young/CSNY - for Neil Young when with CSNY, it has to be Ohio
The Dave Clark Five - Glad All Over

Yeah, folks might be prone to identifying their favorite song by the artist, which quite often is not really the artist's signature song.

Of course "signature song" can also be a very subjective thing.

There were a bunch of them coming and going for a few years there with some overlapping . Wasn’t sure where to fit him in.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Yep, but Spencer shouldn't be omitted because he was an original member along with Peter Green and was part of the classic 3-guitar lineup that included Green & Kirwan. The lead guitar succession over the years (counting all 3 in the "classic" lineup as leads) looks something like:

Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer ("Black Magic Woman")
Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, and Danny Kirwan ("Oh Well")
Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan ("Hi Ho Silver")
Peter Green and Danny Kirwan
Danny Kirwan and Bob Welch ("Child of Mine," although "Bare Trees" and "Sentimental Lady" are in the running)
Bob Welch and Bob Weston ("Hypnotized")
Bob Welch ("Heroes Are Hard to Find")
Lindsay Buckingham ("Go Your Own Way")
Rick Vito
Dave Mason
Mike Campbell
