You rock, Mikey. Your support of illegals and Kamala sucks, but excellent music taste.

Have you ever heard “Leonid and Friends”?

Bunch a russkies who do Chicago and EWF covers with a stunning level of skill.

Smackie played one of their Chicago covers in TT one night even though he said he preferred covers that put their own spin on a tune, which I get.

These damn commies don’t do that. They do absolutely perfect copies. Sometimes I think they might even exceed the original.

The guitarist has Terry Kath down perfect.

And Kseona or whatever her name is.....damn. Who cares if she can sing.

They do a great job, even with complete horn sections. There are just a ton of great cover bands out there, and doing well. Cover something good and pay the royalties and you got a hit. Give this bunch a listen, this Billy Squier cover is one of their best I think and they cover a huge range of classic rock artists. They are a real tight group and professionals in all aspects. They work on things individually all year long and then get together a couple times a year and do the studio thing, on a lot of one take sessions. They really seem to have a good groove on " In the Dark"

Lexington Lab Band.

September has been a good month for me.

Met my wife 30 Septembers ago.

Became a father the following September (yeah, we didn't mess around with all that silly courtship stuff for long!)

What sucks about this September is looks like there will be no fairs which sucks ass.

meh.

Not sure what that House of the rising sun which turned into something else was.

Used to like U2 until they got a little full of themselves the last 20 years or so.
