Bummer, and RIP.

I have to take issue with one statement in the article, though. They describe "La Grange" thusly:
...the set included the raunchy single “La Grange,” a homage to the Chicken Ranch, the notorious bordello in the like-named Texas city.
Given the definition of "homage" I'd have to say it's more of an homage to John Lee Hooker.
(or maybe both?)

They haven't released an album in nine years (I guess they have one in the can though).

Billy Gibbons has released three "solo" albums since 2015, including one this year.

Oh well. Maybe ZZ Top will end up being like the Oak Ridge Boys - a name that just carries on despite having no original members.

I don't have a problem with it. Just thought as tight-knit as that trio had been for so many years they would not continue unless they were all together. Not real surprising, though. Money's money, and there's still some to be made by having that name.

They sucked before and they suck after.
One of the most overrated pieces of garbage going.
