There might be a few more bucks in it for them, but other than that, why would Texas leave a conference where they get a disproportionate % of the revenue for a real one that splits it evenly, where they would go 4-4 in conference play?

A bonus for Texas is they'll he home soon enough to watch OK State play on January 1st every year.

I can't even remember the last time the Ducks played in a New Year's Six Bowl...
Oh, wait -- it was this year.
But before that, we have to go all the way back to... the year before.

They've almost lapped Texas in NY6 bowls this century.

So NY6 bowl games are what the Ducks are playing for? Good to know.
The Ducks are the Texas of the PAC-12. All that talent and they usually find a way to piss themselves in a game they should win.
