I wouldn't wish Screwey harm, but, if there is any type of Karma in the universe, he has been offed by brown skinned gang bangers in a neighborhood that used to have some level of order because the cops used to patrol it. Now they are standing guard a few miles away at the Krispy Kreme, waiting for their shift to end.

Yes, it always has been, but now more so. Why go into the hood to tangle with gang bangers? You'll just lose your job/life/pension over it. Better to guard the freshly dipped donuts.

Poor pigs. Can't murder unarmed suspects pre-trial anymore, so they throw temper tantrums. Fuck 'em.

Go ahead and yuck it up. If you don't live in the hood, it doesn't really affect you.

There are plenty of people that are stuck living there that desperately need a strong police presence in order to get shit under control, but fukk them I guess. Not all balck lives matter, I suppose.

The cops will continue to avoid these places and the genocide will continue.

I moved to a public housing project in Hartford when I was 7.

It was probably 90% minority, pretty even mix between blacks/PRs when I got there. It was probably 98% minority when we moved shortly after my 18th birthday.

So yeah, I do have some experience.

I went back and googled Floyd’s fentanyl level and get a pretty good mix of answers. Some say he definitely did have enough. Some say he didn’t. You’d think it was a cut and dry indisputable answer, but I guess not.

Whatever the answer is, one thing is clear. We have one seriously busted system.

We have alleged leaders like Maxine Waters proclaiming that the jurors BETTER find him guilty of murder.

So, I still don’t know what the fukk went on there. I hope Smackie is right and that Chauvin did murder Floyd and the jury got it right.

Maybe we’re at the point where we should re-examine the “jury of our peers” system and look into having professional trained anonymous jurors who will actually follow the evidence and not worry about a mob burning down their house if they don’t like a verdict.

At the time that the water source was switched it was run by an emergency manager appointed by Republican governor Rick Snyder.

So, some political hack appointed by a Republican was the head of this agency and that makes “republicans” the party of dirty water?

Yeah, that makes sense.

Correct. Because the liberal city council couldn’t handle their own shit.

Decent summary of the issue.

https://reason.com/2016/01/25/the-flint ... lt-of/?amp

Bottom line is there is plenty of blame to go around, but most of it should rest with the city council.

It wasn't the city council that switched water sources w/o doing their due diligence.

The fact that the city needed cheaper water doesn't negate the responsibility to do so in a manner that doesn't kill at least 10 people & permanently harm thousands.

The city couldn’t manage itself. Period. Full Stop.

Nice try on moving the goal posts but the city itself shoulders much of the blame.

Yes, the city was deep in the red.

But that doesn't justify acting negligently.

Or in your world does being in debt justify killing citizens?

He never said it did.

What he did say is that if you want to paint the flint debacle as a Republican problem, you are an idiot.

The failure there was a bipartisan effort.

Right back to killing that straw man eh?

I have already said there was plenty of blame to go around. Some should fall on the Governor. But the most should fall on the liberals who ran that city for years and ran it into the ground.

What part of the city being driven broke & making choices that kill people being different things don't you understand? The city being broke had nothing to do with the EM changing water sources w/o doing his due diligence first. Staying with the original water source a little longer while testing & treating the water lines would have saved those lives. Unless you can show exigent circumstances that would show staying on the old source would have killed more people you're talking out your ass to coddle your party's incompetent racists.

I will leave your inability to format a post aside.

Read that above and stop.

The city being broke has everything to do with the EM. Had the city not been mismanaged and bankrupt there would be no EM.

Never mind this item:
Before the 2014 water switch, the Flint City Council had backed a plan to join the KWA pipeline as a new water source,
So keep moving those goal posts and killing those straw men.

Are you really this dumb?

As I have said repeatedly, the Governor deserves some blame.

However had the Democrats running the city not bankrupt it, no one else gets involved.

Liberal Dems fucked it up and a GOP Governor made it worse.

But keep trying to show how the Dems aren’t to blame at all. It just proves you to be the hack you are.

Tough to even blame the gov here. It is just bureaucracy doing what bureaucracies do, bumbling shit up.

I doubt the governor or anyone else said "Hey look! Balck folks. Let's poison their water supply."

Nobody has said that's what happened, dumbfuck.

But if residents of a wealthier, whiter community had come forward with water looking like:

It wouldn't have taken nearly a year for Snyder to get up off his ass to do something.

Left Behinder;
Apparently you are this stupid. Please provide a link to where the bankrupt city council would have changed waters w/o doing their due diligence first.

Why can’t you accept the fact that your beloved Democrats drove Flint into the fucking ground, you fuckless shit cramp?
Who said that I didn't, imbecile?

Why TF can't you accept that the actions/inactions of the EM caused the toxic water to flow through Flint's pipes, and that the governor totally ignored pleas for help for months in spite of mounting evidence that the residents were being poisoned?
You are one seriously stupid fuck. Had they been even 1% competent, they would have continued to be in charge of their water - like 99% of the rest of the country’s cities.
Whether they were financially competent or not is irrelevant. The first issue at hand is whether the person who commanded that the water source be switched did so w/o doing his due diligence. The second is whether the governor displayed gross negligence in ignoring the citizens' pleas for help with their being poisoned by the actions/inactions of his appointed EM.

Clearly the answers are yes & yes.

And people who elect congressional representatives who only learn about the Holocaust at 47 years of age after visiting a museum have no business going around calling others stupid. #JustSaying

That is all you need right there. The city council bankrupt the city. If they had handled their business, no one else gets involved.
