Your message to a future generation

Words of inspiration can be timeless.

Writers, poets, doctors, philosophers, theologians, religious figures, educators, political leaders, and sometimes common citizens can write (or say) things that still inspire people decades, centuries, and even millennia later.

So assume this board, and this internet, is here 30 years from now.

Post a message that you would want a future reader to see.

Some dude in 2050 stumbles on this board, reads your message, and says, "Wow, this guy in 2020 really nailed it! Rack him!"

Your message?

This too deep a question for Sunday morning

How's this: we fucked up. you'll fuck up too. forgive yourselves. forgive your children for not being you. forgive your parents. be happy in the now.

If I was on Zoom and some guy starting working himself, I'd be like, "Whatever you need, dude. No big deal." He's just keeping things real. Think of it as reality TV. Is Toobin fired or suspended? Are people really that uptight?

Media outlets offer bizarre defenses for CNN star Jeffrey Toobin amid masturbation scandal'We need to keep perspective. We need to see the big picture,' columnist wrote

By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News

"For a news media that's spent years lecturing Trump supporters about decency and morality, they sure don't seem to have any standards whatsoever on their own side," Houck told Fox News. "They'll enforce certain basic norms and call attention to the #MeToo movement, but when it's someone so beloved as Jeffrey Toobin engaging in a sex act during a work call, those universal denials go out the window. No. It's not even being called a suspension in some reports. It's being called taking time off.

Personally, I class it the same as Clinton getting blowjobs from random underlings during state calls with Russia, and other nation's leaders. That's his kink, so whatever. You're not supposed to get caught, though. Be discreet.

It's nowhere near as offensive as semen/tampons in food and drink; however, consent is always king.

The members of the meeting didn't consent. It couldn't be immediately slid, unless they wanted sexual harassment slamdunk lawsuits against them.

Keep it professional during meetings.

Instead I got Kermit Washington'd.

Regardless of how hammered you get, never forget to do the finger-sniff test before you commit to putting your face up in there.

These are related....

Case in point: Hunter Biden versus Donald Trump. Both had connected fathers, generational wealth and white skin privilege -- but Trump has the drive to turn his failures into future successes. Hunter doesn't.

Is that strictly inner core, or strictly drug usage difference?

Exactly!

I mean, it’s like LeBron James vs. Bill Belicheck. Both of them had fathers too. And championships. And hoodies.

But, LeBron used his athleticism driven by concentrated focus to rise up, and Bill found ways to bend the rules.

Is that relying on the game itself , or strictly the influence of video games?

Lebron plays the game, and didn't rely just upon being naturally gifted. He is a leader of men outside of the court. He will never in a million years be given an NBA head coaching position.

Bill Belichik is a European immigrant anchor grandbaby who was given his first coaching position with a professional team, without having to play professional ball, because of his father's accomplishments. His generational wealth was daddy's networking plus white skin privilege. In Lovecraft Country, a Belichik prospers from 1926.

Bill bends rules because it's normal and expected. He's a cac. What did Rome say? 呃得就呃 Just don't get caught.

Having said that, there's more to Belicheat than being forgiven because he produces championships (except in Cleveland ... hey, wait ...) He is a good coach. So was Shula.

As for videogames, I think some people are gamesharkers, while others are Solo Straight Character Challenge junkies. Some are 100% Completionists, others are Chinese buyers of Level 65 characters, all Legendary Gear/Mounts. Some are clerics, others are pkers. Some are speedrunners, others think reading manuals defeats the purpose.

They're games, not real life, though. Might be dream logic at work with how people choose to play, might not.

That's because LeBron wants to own a team not coach one.

Years ago, at a tavern (Monty's - Beaverton Dins) and I was drinking with these biker dudes and one was making time with this skank. He takes her out in his truck and must have muffed her pretty good, comes back in and dude has menstrual blood all over his tee shirt and beard and moustache.

One of his buddies was high fiving him because that proven act got him some kind of biker patch. One other dude hurled on the floor when he saw him and I found a reason to not hang around those freaks any longer.

This is why people hate "the media," CNN and cable news. You're telling me there aren't millions of highly qualified lawyers in the US who haven't jerked off in front of colleagues on Zoom that could replace Toobin? He didn't deserve his job back. The only reason he got it back was because he was born on third base to a famous NYC father. That's it.
