Dump lost the GOP...

The presidency.
The Senate.
The House.

lol

The election was not stolen, yet he continues, in a dark delusion, to carry on about it.
And the GOP, instead of breaking from the loser, follows his idi0tic marching orders.

It isn't a direction.

What was the title of that book?

Everything Trump Touches Dies

Get a clue any day now, Lefty.

Yes Trump is mental. You can stop with the straw men about that any time now.

Yes I voted for Trump and he did some great things. He is also batshit crazy.

Yes some continue to follow him for some reason.

I have said and keep saying both sides are whack. For every Trumper there is a Squader.

Why don’t you describe these Democratic principles, their vision and their direction since your so excited about them.

Democrats have a direction. The direction is laughable.
Republicans currently have two directions. Both are laughable.

We're being redirected. Away from what?

The redirection was simple. Why?

Damn right. And we need far more. Meanwhile you hero is planning to raise taxes and that will hit everyone. Despite his claims, it is going to reach far into the middle class. Especially his capital gains increase which is just stupid.

What he doesn't seem to get, well senile people usually struggle with thinking, is that when you tax something, you get less of that something. The more you tax people, the more people will change their behavior to avoid said taxes.

Yup, they just change it all into coins and roll around in it.

Good God, you are one dumb fukk.

The rich invest their money. Society benefits from this investment.

But when crazy Joe doubles the tax on investment, those with the ability will just take it off shore or maybe put it in tax free T-bills.

The Dims are essentially pursuing what they've pursued for my entire life.

In contrast to the R's, who have forsaken what the've claimed to stand for for my entire life, to instead grovel before the insane orange criminal.

The R's don't stand for anything at all anymore, except for Donald Trump and the supposedly stolen election.

I have no love for Liz Cheney, in fact I despise her, but all them are now calling her out for not being "conservative" enough. What a load of horseshit. She is and has always been one of the most conservative members of the Republican Caucus. She wouldn't have been where she was if not. The only thing they don't like about her is that she sees and tells the truth about their demigod.

She scores something like 99% on all the most conservative issue ratings. Compare that to the Trump buttlicker they're replacing her with, who's more like 50% or 60%.

Sad. Really sad. Hopefully the R rank and file will recognize this and come to their senses. Based on conversation around here, that's not likely.

You can’t even be honest with yourself. That’s what’s really sad here.

They are pursuing what they have been for your whole life maybe if you were 6. But take border fences/walls. The Dems were all for that under Obama and then they pulled a 180.

Dems gave us the nuclear option and then they were against it being used when they weren’t in charge.

So please outline what these principles are, or do you actually have nothing?

It is sad, and it is bad for the country.
It is healthy for the country to have both left and right represented well.

The so-called "right" has gone into cult mode.
They have gone off a cliff by choosing to sell their soul to a deranged fool who doesn't give a pellet of shit about anyone other than himself.

It is bizarro world.

Of course there are variations and deviations dependent on current political situations, but their general direction remains intact.

NPR headlines like this shouldn't even be on the menu:

Trump's Deal To End War In Afghanistan Leaves Biden With 'A Terrible Situation

But they are. That was March.

After his handlers thought it through, Biden said he'd honor Trump's deal... but not in May, in September, on the anniversary of the Saudis and Israelis jointly making a lot of money:
Biden plans to withdraw U.S. forces from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, missing May deadline

The US fights whomever Israel and Saudi Arabia want it to fight. Doesn't matter who is in office.

As for socialism, charity starts at home:
Cash for Illegal Aliens: Albany’s lavish new budget includes $15,600 checks for unemployed illegal immigrants.
Seth Barron April 12, 2021

So... it was true after all. For New York State. This is not charity starting at home.

Ok. Remove pure. It was something Bernie of Elizabeth said before. I may have been used in place of Democratic Socialism. But Socialism is horrible enough on its own that we don’t need to add adjectives.

As for critical race theory you can ask the authors/inventors for a definition. To me it seems like a way to blame shift instead of looking inward at ones own issues.

Since you apparently don’t know what either socialism or Critical Race Theory mean you probably ought to avoid criticizing either one.

If you have a problem with any specific aspects of “socialism” and want to criticize those, fine. But to use such a broad brush defining all aspects of it as “horrible” just casts you as another low information ignoramus regurgitating canned reactionary Republican catch phrases. I know you’re better than that. As Keirland has pointed out there are many obvious aspects of every day life, which you probably would not want to trash, that are products of socialist government policies and programs.

This.

Plus (and I don’t claim to be an expert) if you do look at how the “authors/inventors” describe it, it’s quite a bit different than how it’s framed by the right wing reactionaries, many of whom also have not bothered to actually read about it either, or are lying about it to play to their low information base. So, if you’re going to trash it out of hand, at least take the time to know what you’re talking about.

Are you unable to read? If you asked for a definition of CRT and I suggested you get with its authors. But of course you then attack a straw man instead of the issue.

As for Socialism, there is a ton to dislike and criticize. First is the very basis of the movement, which says the community as a whole (usually thru a central government) controls means of production and distribution, capital, land, etc. Government control of more of our life is great for those who have no drive or little in the way of skills. This system rewards mediocrity. In a socalist system I would not be a business owner. There would be little to no incentive to take a risk and create a service to fill a need.

Further socialism tends to provide its citizen with less than world class services. Take medical services in Canada. While the provinces and territories cover "basic" and hospitalization services, that doesn't mean they are outstanding services. In many places in Canada patients can wait for months for an MRI or to see a specialist. That is why those with means, pay an annual fee to doctors to help cut the line or travel to the US for these services.

As far as MS, I don't read his black cock, yellow, orange man bad posts so who know if I would want to ditch those or not.

But those pushing socialism like to point to Fire or Police services as socialist that no one would want to get rid of. However, I would disagree. I have lived in a MUD when in Sugar Land, and we paid for our own Fire and Law Enforcement services. We built the fire station, hired city of Sugar Land Firemen, and purchased and maintained the trucks and equipment. As such we had a fire protection class of 2 versus the cities protection class of 4 that became 3. We also paid for our own law enforcement and their vehicles.

On the CRT, I have read about it and my take from the previous post still applies. It appears to me to be a way to blame shift and not have to examine ones own issues. CRT losely holds that social racism exists (which I agree that it does in some small narrow areas) and that our laws are designed to maintain that social racism. I do not agree at all with the second part.

And I am not saying schools shouldn't discuss all kinds of theories, including CRT. But when any of these theories are discussed, they should be introduced as theories and not as some sort of factual claim.

But hey keep killing those straw men. You are world class at it.

You and NixFux both declared CRT to be evil without stating a reason why, other than it’s evil. I’m not defending it OR criticizing it, but challenged you to present a reason, based on whatever is actually in there, to explain why it’s evil.

That’s a strawman? Think again. You asked me to defend something, that I admittedly have never read up on and never intended to defend, based on an argument you never presented. If anybody is using a strawman here, it’s you. You quite obviously have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about. A+, though, for the three page dodge in which you said nothing worth reading. Except maybe the obvious conclusion that you see socialism vs capitalism as a somehow black or white, either/or proposition. You really need to get out of 7th grade level civics and join the real world.

Maybe we need a discussion of the difference between socialism vs capitalism, and Socialism vs Capitalism. Do you think there’s a difference?

I never mentioned CRT. You brought it up and asked for a definition. I suggested you ask it’s inventors for one if you wanted one and gave my opinion that it seems to blame shift.

No where did I claim it to be evil. I also said I have no problem with it being discussed in classrooms. Why do you feel the need to lie and make shit up? You are better than this, I thought. Guess that needs to be re-evaluated.

But keep lying and putting words in my mouth so you can attack them if that helps you sleep. But your picture is soon to appear in the dictionary next to straw man.
