Do you believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead?
This isn't the tread for religious debate or smack. It's a straight up anonymous poll in my book.
Let's see what percentage make up the T1B "faithful".

He'd sign with the franchise that would provide him with the best opportunity to market his name and give him the maximum $$$$$..

That's an idea that I truly love. The thought of all the entry level players choosing their own teams? Awesome, just awesome.

If I am not mistaken there was no draft until the 60's anyway.

This is just horrendously unfair to the guys that should have been drafted this year. I'd like to see them have a draft, but with the order being one that is randomly chosen. A NHL amateur draft is officially part of the CBA, so without a deal there is no draft. That I know. However, when a player ...

Laker Hater Check-in thread.
I'm soooo in. Life is indeed sweet for the Laker hater. The last year has seen them blow out two hall-of-fame coaches, go to the finals only to get rolled by the Pistons, and trade their best player to Miami for almost nothing. If that wasn't enough, they stocked the team with Malone and Payton and ...

PC Game Review: Half Life 2
First off, I must insist that everyone who reads this stop what they are doing and run to the store and purchase this game. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, this is an awesome game. the first thing that really jumps out at me(I've only been playing for a few hours) is the look and sound of ...

You could get 35 games or so if the first round was eliminated and only 4 teams per conference made it...but the owners make their money during the playoffs so I know that would never fly. I was thinking more along the lines of 4, 5 game series. Also, go back to a game every other day no matter what.

If the NHL is soooo concerned about competitive balance then why wasn't a minimum one of the issues that was central in negotiations?

Re: Random thoughts about the lost season
Where did the cap system help them? Sure the NBA makes money hand over fist, but it's also proof that a cap system isn't an absolute gaurantee of financial stability. I agree that the NBA proves a soft cap doesn't work. I would go as far to say that there is no absolute gaurantee for every team in ...

Random thoughts about the lost season
-Something I hadn't really considered is the real possibility of a season cancellation. I, honestly, am still in complete shock that the NHL and NHLPA could be so insanely stupid. -The thing that angers me the most is the fact that the NHL could have made money under any number of proposals the NHLP...

Look at how strong the competitive balance is in the NFL Sure, the NFL has a good system for those that choose to be competitive. The NHL has teams that blatantly do not try to be competive(Chicago). My problem with a cap system in the NHL is that I'm not convinced that the dynamics of an NHL roste...

Saving pics from the web
Every time I right click to save a picture I'm only allowed the option of saving as a bitmap(bmp) instead of the normal jpg. How did this happen? It's annoying as hell, especially when I need to save a photo for editing. http://img220.exs.cx/img220/7130/screenhunter0216ez.jpg What is that all about?...

Sean Avery is an idiot, evidenced by the quotes posted by Blitzkrieg. I've met Sean Avery, he's not an idiot. He's not genius either.
