Re: Who ya betting in Tourney?
I got the following...all the same size, I quit making bigger/smaller bets years ago. I decided if it's worth betting, it's worth betting for an equal amount. I've become pretty disciplined sticking to that. Not really sure if it helps or not, but.... Georgia +8.5 Xavier is better but Georgia ...

Can't argue with you.......I had Portland + the points last time; naturally they lost by 1/2 point. I'm sure PHX wins by 3 or less or loses outright...

Vegas isn't setting lines based on who they think will win......the lines are based on public perception and to get action on both sides. Vegas doesn't care what the seeds are and are probably a more accurate reflection of public perception. But in most cases Vegas wants even money on both sides.......

And we all know Roy Williams couldn't coach his way out of a paper box. His coaching strategy is "I've got 5 guys better than any 1 player on your team, now let's see you try and stop them". But when he goes up against a team that has a couple guys as good or better than anyone on his tea...

No team in history has ever been snubbed by the NCAA since it expanded to 64-65 teams. There may be teams more deserving than teams that got it, but there's no such thing as a snub. If you don't get in you have no one but yourself to blame. It's really pretty simple on how you make the Big Dance......

Even the ESPN honks were laughing at Phoenix' "defense." I couldn't stop laughing. They shored up their post D by getting another guy who absolutely refuses to defend any play that's set up high (which a huge chuck of NBA teams are doing these days)? All Nash did was wave his arms around....
