I have to agree on all said about books by C.S. Lewis. Great reads! Another favorite writer from long ago that is timeless are the essays of E. B. White. Last time I looked at the dictionary, one of the meanings for viable is:

"Capable of success or continuing effectiveness"

Whether or not you believe in what the Democratic party and their candidates stand for, I don't see viability as one of their strengths at this moment in time.

I have to agree on this one, KU wins the Big 12. I'm a homer for OSU but not liking how they fold against the zone, and they play KU at KU this year. I might hope for a win at GIA, but it's an uphill that the Pokes haven't shown yet to win at KU. OSU has some work to do to stay as even a top 10 team...
