Re: Roland-Garros
Interesting, SM. I have been out of the loop for almost 20 years, so I have no input on the racquets you've shown here. However... You mentioned a racquet being heavy a couple of times. Fwiw, I always played with a very heavy racquet with a very large grip. I put extra weight on the sides of my rac...

I demoed a few new racquets today for the first time. My first real adult tennis racquet purchase in Oct 2022 was a Volkl V Cell 8 300g 100 sq inch. I really like it, provides a lot of power and I don't get any arm, elbow or shoulder soreness. Overall it's a great racquet. https://img.tennis-warehou...

Very sad how average Americans on a jury, who will now undoubtedly face violent retribution from Dump supporters, were the ones who had the integrity to stand up to Dump, unlike the enti...

I watched the Iga Swiatek vs Naomi Osaka match on Wednesday and it was pretty epic. Osaka was rolling Iga. Iga won the first set 6-4 but lost the second set 1-6 and Osaka was rolling her in the third set. Hitting winners left and right and Iga was melting. Then all of the sudden Iga fought back down...

Played for the first time today and immediately fell in love with this silly game. I figured out how to adapt my table tennis serve to the big court and had three aces in a row. I hate the kitchen rule though. It'll take me a while to figure that out. It's easy tennis and is more social than a real...

I don't understand what is so complicated about going to space. We went to the moon on the first try and never had a failed attempt. Let's just do that again. But should we return to the moon? Re: In This Thread HPG Discusses Inflation and Housing
While this sounds great in concept it’s not nearly that simple and, taken to this extreme, it would result in almost immediate disaster. You need infrastructure to support whatever is built. This includes transportation, utilities (electricity, gas, water, sewer, etc), proximity to available servic...

For sure. Property owners are clearly stifled from building what the market demands. I read every day about some poor developer that wanted to build a four story apartment complex in Chappaqua, but was fucked over by the Zoning Man. You are a loon. My take is exactly 100% accurate. Re: In This Thread HPG Discusses Inflation and Housing
You just need to build as many units as possible. 90% of America is zoned to single family housing, even in the most in demand and dense locations in the country. It's a wasteful and inefficient use to public resources. All in the name of racism and traffic. Allow property owners to build three or f...
