Re: Convicted Felon Donald Trump
I was just sent a meme that I cannot track down on the interwebs. Jesus is hugging Trump and says to him: “Don’t worry. They convicted me, too. You’ll rise again in November.’ Someone please explain the love Trump receives from so many “Christian“ folks. I just don’t get it. Because they're hypocri...

I didn't know it was "Fag month," Dave, until you chose to bring it up. Not sure I believe that. Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a fag month ad or article online or in the media during June for the last 10 years or so. Why did you feel the need to do that? Because I find it funny. ...

Re: Roland-Garros
I grew up playing with a wood racquet, so the basic strokes I developed as a youngster were pretty standard for that era. Eastern(ish) forehand grip, two handed backhand (I was small), and all court ability. I could play the net, but was more comfortable at the baseline, mostly because I was small ...

Interesting, SM. I have been out of the loop for almost 20 years, so I have no input on the racquets you've shown here. However... You mentioned a racquet being heavy a couple of times. Fwiw, I always played with a very heavy racquet with a very large grip. I put extra weight on the sides of my rac...

I used the Pure Aero today during my parastanding class. It's not bad for fooling around with but if I was playing against guys my own skill level, it would probably make me tired. Though I do love it for volleys. Helps put volleys away.

I demoed a few new racquets today for the first time. My first real adult tennis racquet purchase in Oct 2022 was a Volkl V Cell 8 300g 100 sq inch. I really like it, provides a lot of power and I don't get any arm, elbow or shoulder soreness. Overall it's a great racquet. https://img.tennis-warehou...

A duly constituted jury in New York State has spoken. I ‘ll take their word over the conspiracy wing of the GOP. Very sad how average Americans on a jury, who will now undoubtedly face violent retribution from Dump supporters, were the ones who had the integrity to stand up to Dump, unlike the enti...

I watched the Iga Swiatek vs Naomi Osaka match on Wednesday and it was pretty epic. Osaka was rolling Iga. Iga won the first set 6-4 but lost the second set 1-6 and Osaka was rolling her in the third set. Hitting winners left and right and Iga was melting. Then all of the sudden Iga fought back down...

Played for the first time today and immediately fell in love with this silly game. I figured out how to adapt my table tennis serve to the big court and had three aces in a row. I hate the kitchen rule though. It'll take me a while to figure that out. It's easy tennis and is more social than a real...

UCLA and USC broke his heart by breaking up the Pac-12. Fitting he passes away the same year as the Pac-12/Pac-10, they don't get more California than that guy.
