Re: Rose Bowl

I don't watch much PAC football during the season but knew enough about Stanford to know that they play very good defense. Iowa wasn't able to slow down the pass rush and, what has been a very good offensive line all season, were totally schooled. I knew McCaffrey was a great player but didn't know ...

Re: Rose Bowl

Congrats to Stanford and Mikey for the win. Embarrassing loss but the Hawks were beaten by the better team....no doubt about that. Stanford controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and Iowa had no answer for McCaffrey. He's an outstanding young player and I'm not sure how he didn't...

Definitely a step in the right direction, but I was hoping that the Big XXII might be requiring all of their teams to play defense, which would have an effect on more schools than just Baylor.

How do y'all see Michigan State being able to move the ball at all on Alabama's D? 160 rushing ypg for MSU. Alabama gives up 74 ypg. Connor Cook's shoulder better heal before December 31st! Bama's offense is what worries me...too much stuttering. Yes, Sparty may have problems moving the ball agains...

And a defacto 4th with ND in there. More interesting to me is seeing 3 Big1G teams. Bill Snyder was considered by some as the. best coach in the country based on his results vs. recruiting rankings. Re: College Playoff: Call it!

I think the Sooners kick the shit out of Clemson and the MSU-Alabama game will be similar to what we saw last night in the B1G championship game with a low scoring defensive affair and the winner being determined late in the game. Not sure who I'd pick in this one, but probably MSU. You know, B1G, B...

Congrats for last night's win and the playoff berth. It was a great game and well played by both teams. Iowa will attempt to control the clock by pounding out a ground game and then hit you with some play action passes, which, along with solid defense, is Iowa football in a nutshell.
