btw, satellite photos seem to have found Sodom and Gommorah at the bottom of the Dead Sea. Satellite photos have also "seem to have found" Noah's Ark in Turkey. Actually, Turkish and American air force pilots regularly see Noah's Ark. It's not theoretical to them; it's a fact. http://www....

btw, satellite photos seem to have found Sodom and Gommorah at the bottom of the Dead Sea. That would be a bit of a telling symbolism with regards to God's feelings of the cities (burn them, then salt the ground so nothing could grow there again).

I think that the accuracy increases as you get closer to modern times (i.e., the New Testament stuff), but the Old Testament is just laughable - giants, the Tower of Babel, Garden of Eden, talking snakes, Jewish slaves building the pyramids, etc. Some parts are accurate, some aren't. I don't worry ...

Re: Believers, a question from an agnostic...

What would it take for you to stop believing what you currently believe? Is there any scenario, no matter how far-fetched, in which you might say "Wow, I guess I was wrong this whole time"? For example, let's say a being appeared on earth tomorrow and said "Hey, sorry about all the c...

You're wrong Dio but I think you know that. The bible is one of the most revised works in human history. Try reading a translation, a propper translation, of the Hebrew scriptures and then get back to us about wheather the bible has been revised. You mean like the "revisions" from the &qu...

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Good movie. I think I preferred it to the book (the vogon's apparent feelings of pride in his poetry were better than those in the book). Very clever humor. If you avoided it due to the PG, you don't know what your missing.

Rookie phenom Jonathan Sanchez is in AAA.

Todd Santos is in the minors.

Brad Hennessey is in the bully.
