Eric Thorton reached base, for the sooners, on balls. Rodriquez lined one towards the short stop and were able to beat Thorton with the ball to the base, according to the ump atleast. Jackson Williams ended the inning with a pop fly to center.

0-0 Top 3rd.

Just for Frisco from Norman, Oklahoma.

Uneventful so far with two outs in the bottom of the 2nd. Cliff Pennington of A&M is the only batter to reach base so far on a hit.

I have Utah over Oklahoma and Southern Illinois over the Cowpokes in my bracket. I had Gonzaga over UCLA in the 2nd round, but I think Gonzaga will beat Texas Tech.
