Re: Game Thread: Bragg v Trump - Business Records / Election Interference / Hush Money

I offered him a Hungus bet on whether the SCOTUS would take the Trump case before the NY appellate courts had a chance to weigh in. My odds were like 8 Trillion to 1. So I would have felt bad for him on that one (at least for a millisecond). The tards are safe, for now.

Re: Game Thread: Bragg v Trump - Business Records / Election Interference / Hush Money

He was convicted 34 times. What happens if 33 are overturned but 1 remains? What happens if there is a pardon? He was convicted once, of 34 felony counts. If any remain, I lose (and they are all basically the same - I cannot believe there could be a split in this case). He won't be offered a pardon...

Hungus bet me, smart guy. 88. After careful consideration, you are CORRECT. HIS convictions will be overturned. Where and when of course, remains to be seen. Please articulate the reasons that the convictions will be overturned. Are you willing to take the Hungus bet, Diego? You seem pretty confide...

Hungus bet me. I don't think Trump's team is stupid enough to even attempt to get the SCOTUS to hear an appeal at this stage. The 9-0 refusal to hear the case at this stage would look bad.

Re: BREAKING NEWS. Verdict is in

If it's a guilty verdict, the Supreme Court will reach down and take this immediately. It's legal, I looked it up. The case was so egregious, and undermined our legal system so blatantly, that the majority of justices will want to take it on immediately due to the threat the left-wing has posed to ...

I will bet you $100 (payable to the charity of the winner's choosing) that SCOTUS will not reverse any of the convictions by the date of sentencing. May not happen before sentencing, but SCOTUS will overturn, 6-3, probably before the case is heard by any lower appeals courts. They'll cite the upcom...

Weak sauce from a person throwing bombs. Trump always opposed the Iraq war. He was asking what was in it for the men and women who gave their lives there. And it’s a fair question. There was no reason for the massive amount of death that we brought to that country and the deaths and injuries sustain...

I played USTA tennis for years. Had pickleball pegged as a “sport” for people who are not capable of playing tennis. Then I got hooked. The game is great. The skills to excel are different than tennis. A lot of strategy and anticipation. I love it. And I still play tennis. But tennis is not nearly a...
