DiMarco was solid. It would have been quite easy to pack it in after Woods' birdie on 16. I doubt he thought he would be losing a shot after they both teed off. He was so close to holing in on 18 himself. That would have been a serious comeback if there ever was one.

No doubt he probably had to, but he also did the right thing by informing one of the rules officials about it since he couldn't very well tap down every spike mark for the next 17 holes without someone noticing it. I totally see where you are coming from Lefty. I have always liked watching team who press/trap. While there is certainly a risk involved giving up easy baskets if a team breaks it, there are also many opportunities to create turnovers that lead to easy buckets.

Teams with depth can utilize the full court press/trap more efficiently than those who rely on a core of 7 or 8 players.
