But they're 20-6 in May, the most wins ever for the Pads in a month, with two games to go. Trevor has 12 saves in May and the Padres haven't made an error in more than 10 games. Back to back three game sweeps against the Marlins and Braves, coming on the heels of 3 of 4 from the Cards.

Just shows that the Padres would run away from the pack in either of the two weaker divisions.
The West will probably remain close due to much greater overall quality, top to bottom.

What's with this "good ball" "bad ball" shit? A strike is a pitch that is either a) in the strike zone, or b) the batter swings at it. The result of the swing does not change the fact that the pitch is a strike. A ball is a pitch that is not in the strike zone and the batter does...
