That's not saying much since they squeaked into the playoffs, just beating a bunch of 3rd stringers who were playing for nothing. No, they were apparently playing to knock the Redskins out of the playoffs, according to all the Eagle fans. They talked shit all week at how they would ruin our run to ...

nothing against the bucs rush D, but outside of portis and dunn, they havent faced too many good backs. And when they did face Washington, they got rolled up for 180 yards on the ground. The Redskins, meanwhile, held the Bucs to 61 yards rushing. Sean Taylor is going to put at least one Tampon play...

Re: Bucs vs Skins at RJS on Sat
Brunell will be harrassed all day as the TB front forces him into too many mistakes. In the past three weeks, the Redskins' offensive line has allowed just two sacks....and one of those games was against the Giants D-line which is one of the best in the NFL. Our secondary plans on actually covering...

Appalachian St vs. Northern Illinois D I-AA Title game
Tonight on ESPN. I'll take Appalachian State....they knocked off Furman, who were pretty damn good, plus Furman beat Richmond. I think they'll win this one tonight in thie championship game of the PLAYOFFS.

skins are done, IMO. ya, i know they play the giants and dallas at home 2 of the last 3, and they play the rams and cards and philly, but the crap i've seen the last 2 games- and losing at home today???- they are done. I agree. It's over. They'll win a couple more games to keep it interesting and w...

Big Daddy wrote: Hope Norv doesn't get over like he got over on the Cowpokes the first year he coached the Skins?
For the record, Norv got swept by Dallas his first year as Redskins coach (1994), but he did sweep the Cowboys in 1995, a year in which Washington went 6-10 and the Cowboys won the Super Bowl.

Washington blocked teh extra point but the guy who bloacked it was way early. The ball was moved to the 1 yard line. Gruden decided to go for 2 and the win. Alstott plunged in up the middle and the rest is history. Alstott had the ball tucked under his arm, and the replay clearly showed that the el...
One of the things that I think MLB could definitely milk is all the post season hype over the awards. They ought to announce the winners during some big prime time Saturday night show every year ala Oscars, Emmys, ESPYs, etc. Also do up a couple of hours from the best plays, epic games, and so fort...

I disagree with people saying that Vermeil made an incredibly gutsy call. How many time outs did he have? If zero, then the run call was what was gutsy. 5 seconds is an eternity. I would have gone for a quick pass in the end zone, which would take about 3 seconds off the clock. So, in that respect i...

Thanks Toddowen, for the hot dog/saurkraut idea.
Whenever you buy a bag of kraut there's too much of it to go around, so why not use a bunch of it like you suggested? Start with buttering up a pan on low heat and chucking LOTS of kraut in the pan. Splice a couple dogs and clear an area on the pan so that the dogs can be on the pan but surrounded b...

Did nothing? Portis only had the third best season performance by a running back in Redskin history. The Redskins are a playoff team, this year. Bank on it. Portis' yards per carry sucked (3.8 after averaging 5.5 his first two years in the league) and he only rushed for five touchdowns after...

Hey, FTDC, if you had been at the Sermon on the Mount, and they handed you your loaf and fishes, what kind of sauce would you have dunked it in? Advice on Mexican food?
What's good that won't make you sick? The key to Mexican food is getting the proper spice and using plenty of hot sauce. That greasy yellow rice is always key, lots of it with a nice beef burrito on the side. Never been a big fan of going to Mexican places, but I've heard that once you know what to ...

Is there a hamburger grilling device like this one?
I'm looking for one like I saw on a show where this little mom and pop burger joint cooked burgers only one way- they molded ground up beef into a patty, slammed a big slice of onion on top, and then squeezed it in between these two metal rack things and put that thing in SIDEWAYS to an old-timey mi...

I'm rockin' a Tombstone Extra Cheese right now. Preheat to 400, cook 12-14 minutes, burn the roof of your mouth. Enjoy! T-Stones are the ultimate burn-your-mouth pizzas. But it is a great frozen pizza. Great for eating during a football game because it lasts a long time and you can just slowly chow...

9 years old, and my dad is driving my brother and I home from a field where we were playing baseball. My brother had a bag of ice for his ankle, and the bag has melted for the most part. I am thinking of making a doublemelt grilled cheese
Just came up with this idea....it involves three slices of regular white Sunbeam bread. You toast one slice and butter it, and use this slice as your middle slice. On one piece of the other bread, put cheddar cheese on it, then lay the middle piece (toasted) on top, then apply some strips of fried b...

Duke will always be my number one hated team I still remember the 1991 Final Four game we lost 79-77. To this day i',m still convinced the players threw that game. My sophomore year, I went to a house party of a kid on my hall whose parents were out of town. It was in December and I drank much beer and puked once outside and continued drinking while looking at Christmas lights from the view and freezing! The next day I woke up on a waterbed (his parents bed) n...

I invented a genius sammich/sub topping
Simple....yet so easy. You see many sub shops that offer cucumber slices. That's boring. We all know that the cucumber offers little taste. But if you slice them up and put them in some vinegar for about 30 minutes, you have a great topping. It's like a pickle, except fresher and crunchier and not a...
