And yup the Bucs lost to the Niners and Jets, but they also beat a couple of playoff bound teams in that same stretch. They fared well against New England. What was the score of that game? Be sure that Shawn Springs will give the same locker room speech he gave before we played the Rams: "We w...

That's not saying much since they squeaked into the playoffs, just beating a bunch of 3rd stringers who were playing for nothing. No, they were apparently playing to knock the Redskins out of the playoffs, according to all the Eagle fans. They talked shit all week at how they would ruin our run to ...

nothing against the bucs rush D, but outside of portis and dunn, they havent faced too many good backs. And when they did face Washington, they got rolled up for 180 yards on the ground. The Redskins, meanwhile, held the Bucs to 61 yards rushing. Sean Taylor is going to put at least one Tampon play...

Re: Bucs vs Skins at RJS on Sat

Brunell will be harrassed all day as the TB front forces him into too many mistakes. In the past three weeks, the Redskins' offensive line has allowed just two sacks....and one of those games was against the Giants D-line which is one of the best in the NFL. Our secondary plans on actually covering...

Appalachian St vs. Northern Illinois D I-AA Title game

Tonight on ESPN. I'll take Appalachian State....they knocked off Furman, who were pretty damn good, plus Furman beat Richmond. I think they'll win this one tonight in thie championship game of the PLAYOFFS.

For the record, Norv got swept by Dallas his first year as Redskins coach (1994), but he did sweep the Cowboys in 1995, a year in which Washington went 6-10 and the Cowboys won the Super Bowl.

Washington blocked teh extra point but the guy who bloacked it was way early. The ball was moved to the 1 yard line. Gruden decided to go for 2 and the win. Seriously with no time outs I would have gone for it with a lob to Shields in the end zone and if it fell incomplete, kick the field goal. But no time outs and RUN the ball? That's brass stones.

I disagree with people saying that Vermeil made an incredibly gutsy call. How many time outs did he have? If zero, then the run call was what was gutsy. 5 seconds is an eternity. I would have gone for a quick pass in the end zone, which would take about 3 seconds off the clock. So, in that respect i...

Thanks Toddowen, for the hot dog/saurkraut idea.

Whenever you buy a bag of kraut there's too much of it to go around, so why not use a bunch of it like you suggested? Start with buttering up a pan on low heat and chucking LOTS of kraut in the pan. Splice a couple dogs and clear an area on the pan so that the dogs can be on the pan but surrounded b...

The gospels were actually written only 30 years after the resurrection, so many of the thousands that Jesus appeared to after rising from the dead were still living. If the accounts of Jesus coming back to life were bs, people would have called the writers of the gospels out on it. Just a thought.

What's good that won't make you sick? The key to Mexican food is getting the proper spice and using plenty of hot sauce. I'm looking for one like I saw on a show where this little mom and pop burger joint cooked burgers only one way- they molded ground up beef into a patty, slammed a big slice of onion on top, and then squeezed it in between these two metal rack things and put that thing in SIDEWAYS to an old-timey mi...

I am thinking of making a doublemelt grilled cheese

Just came up with this idea....it involves three slices of regular white Sunbeam bread. You toast one slice and butter it, and use this slice as your middle slice. On one piece of the other bread, put cheddar cheese on it, then lay the middle piece (toasted) on top, then apply some strips of fried b...

I invented a genius sammich/sub topping

Simple....yet so easy. You see many sub shops that offer cucumber slices. That's boring. We all know that the cucumber offers little taste. But if you slice them up and put them in some vinegar for about 30 minutes, you have a great topping. It's like a pickle, except fresher and crunchier and not a...
